Read something that helped me in my situation today. Maybe it might be good for someone else too.
I read about David's sin with Bathsheba. I was always familiar with this story, but I wasn't familiar with the response of David after his sin and how the Lord responded.
The Lord killed David's child because it was bred out of sin and as punishment for David. What David did in response was not be mad at God or beg him. At first he prayed and fasted for God to fix the situation. But when God made his decision to let the baby die. David accepted it. And praised God anyway and moved on with life. He had another baby and that child was blessed by God. His response was I can't do anything about the child once it's dead (basically God made his decision).
This has changed my mindset about my own actions and how I should respond and view God's sovereignty. No I can't change what I did but I can accept what ever the consequences are and honor God's decision despite what happens.
David's example really helped me. Be blessed guys.
