Science is a method. That's all it is. It's a way of discovering things about the universe so that we don't deceive ourselves. YOU hate it because it doesn't confirm the Bible as all truth.
How pathetic that you take a book written between 2-4,000 years ago and place it above all the knowledge of mankind.
It's common to "know" more than every scientist on earth.
and odd conceit, but there it is.
In general the kind of people who are so afflicted
are unable to handle complexity, and must have simple
(facile) answers. And be right.
I think there is something very rigid and brittle
in it, so that the least crack will shatter the lot.
It's not the Bible per se that has to be True,
but the person's chosen interpretation, which
often enough comes down to belief in personal
infallibility.
It's a most unfathomable sort of egoism,
and so not in keeping with what I think of
as being Christian calls for humility.
