  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The first thing one must do in order to understand these concepts, is to accept the premise of the work. The premise is:

God is the only author of the KJV Bible, which is centered on the days of the Creation.

An interpretation is hidden in the KJV text, in the method Paul has demonstrated in all his epistles.

God is indeed the only true author of the Holy Bible...He spoke through Moses and the prophets who were carried along by the Holy Spirit as Peter pens. These men "penned" the Gospel, God authored it.

As for interpretations being hidden, the OT held hidden wisdom as Scripture itself declares:

Psalm 78:1-3:
My people, hear my teaching;
listen to the words of my mouth.
I will open my mouth in parables,
I will utter hidden things, things from of old—
what we have heard and known,
what our fathers have told us.

This speaks of the hidden knowledge revealed through Christ who would open His mouth in parables...the ancients had knowledge of the Messiah and indeed putting their faith in this promise and following God's commands was their salvation.

We much of the O.T. being explained in the N.T. as both real and symbolic. (more hidden knowledge revealed to us then)

I Corinthians 2:13-14:
This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God,for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Here again we see a reason for lack of comprehension of God's word...some lack the Spirit who is necessary for discernment.

I'm not sure what some of you are trying to do with this thread...de-Divinci Code the Scriptures??
My advise: Read the Scriptures totally through from beginning to end without aids. It is straight-forward reading. Be diligent in prayer for understanding when something doesn't make sense and above all do what the Word says with all your heart. If you have godly motives surely God will grant you wisdom and understanding. I'm afraid some of you have lost connection with the Head, who is Christ Jesus, and your intrigues have gotten the best of you and if the father of lies and such intrigues were to be unveiled you would come eye-to-eye with Satan and learn to your sore chagrin that you are not following God at all, but Satan.

I see things in the bible as well. No one knows everything though, and that's why we learn together as one body with many parts. I agree with what you say to a point, but no one understands everything.

No, no one knows everything and yes we learn from one another, but we must make an honest effort to read the Scriptures on our own...faith comes from hearing the message says Roman, how can one without faith or strong faith properly discern what is being put out...they are at risk or in jeopardy of veering off course and shipwrecking their faith. And here are two other passages to incorporate into your *Study*...
I Peter 2:2-3:
Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.
I John 2:27:
As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as His anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in Him.

And, btw, I was only speaking to the point, that some here seem to be making, about the "doublets" in Scripture and other such cryptic points.

I agree with you 100%.
If ye have/had faith as a grain of mustard seed; is this strong faith? Btw, Jesus Christ is my personal Lord and Saviour.

Hey, this ain"t seventh grade composition! There is some real depth in the Word of God as given by the King James Version of the Bible.

Sorry I was unclear.
The way Paul has shown us how to find knowledge in the scriptures, will only work with the KJV Bible. It is absolutely perfect; without err down to the last letter, precept; jot or tittle.

I see now. Yes, Jesus is Lord. Let he who boasts, boast only in The Lord. TO God be the Glory for ever and ever, Amen.
Yea! Glory to God!

I primarily studied the KJV, then the NKJV. I still use them too, but it doesn't hurt to use other translations as well because KJV is a translation, and no translation is perfect, so it seems good to use multiple versions, even an interlinear, and occasionally even consulting a commentary, but no commentary is perfect either, just like bible translations.

I strongly disagree. If your reading various Bibles, you get various messages, not the Word of God which can be found in the KJV Bible.

Not so, because the spirit leads us in all truth. The spirit gives us discernment, if we truly are seeking the truth with all our heart.

Do you believe the Word of God is perfect? If so, which version of the Bible are you referring to, all of them, or just the ones which agree with your own personal understanding? How do you know which ones? Do you get to pick and choose which to put your faith in? Do you trust the men who compiled these different versions regardless of their agendas. How do you know just which parts of which version is the inspired Word of God?

Not me, brother! There is no confusion here; I have one God, one faith in one Bible, the KJV Bible. Praise be to the Word of God our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever! Hebrews 13:8, Amen.
