2 dreams of lions

At two differing times (15 years apart),I dreamed about lions.The first was in my hometown church.I was in the church alone at night and I saw about four lions where I was upstairs and I was very afraid that if they saw me,they would kill me.Downstairs in the main church area, there were more lions which were walking around roaring.No lion hurted me and I woke up.I had the same dream several times around the next few years.

The second dream occured a couple of days ago.I was walking along a few paces behind someone.As I talked to them,I was watching where I put my feet in case I stood in the dung I saw around.Just as I was wondering what kind of animal was around,and assuming them to be cattle, I spotted several lions laying in the knee high grass the way a tame domestic cat would.They got up and came toward me and being wary but not terrified,I started to walk the opposite direction.The lions made no sound,not even a growl and just walked beside me.

Do you know who the someone was that you were walking next to? It sounds as though you let them continue walking in the same direction you were previously walking, and then you changed and went "opposite direction" of that person as was influenced by the lions coming along side of you. Is that correct?

The older dream was probably about what was going on in your church and your life at that time. The lions were "prowling about seeking to destroy". 1 Peter 5:8 "Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour".

Satan is described as a roaring lion roaming about the earth seeking someone to devour. Since you were afraid I think these were dangerous lions of the kingdom of darkness. The number four could represent they had dominion over that church. Since you had the dream several times I think it was a call to prayer as a warning from God. Maybe the reason you were not hurt is because you are sealed in the Holy Spirit. Do you still attend this church?

These lions could represent protection??? You were not terrified of them and they behaved as if tame without making a noise. I think you are careful about how you live your life in wanting to please the Lord Jesus. Father God is pleased because you believe Jesus is the Son of God. This could be another warning dream about who you were following. They were leading you among the dung. The Lord wants to lead you and HE wants you to hear HIS voice. He will lead you.

May the Lord Jesus lead you from glory to glory and continue to cleanse and sanctify you everyday. May you grow in love, be quickened in your spirit, and serve in a mighty way. POWERFUL by the Holy Spirit living inside you. Blessings in Christ Jesus.
