In the short time I have been here this is beginning to look more like a battleground than an internet forum.

If someone here has one and thinks Sentipente is someone that used to post here, so be it, but I am not privy to that infomation. I swear.

If the problem is with the conduct of the debate maybe it is time to approach the issue differently. Censorship is not the answer, unless you think you have all the knowledge you need to have and have nothing else to learn.

When it comes to Evolution I have all the knowledge I need.

I don't believe in it, I never have, not even before I was a Seventh-day Adventist.

I am a TRADITIONAL Seventh-day Adventist by CHOICE. I wasn't reared in this church. I became a member because I BELIEVE in her teachings, and I have no desire to be anything else.

I should be able to come to a Seventh-day Adventist forum without having to listen to this bickering over this, that, and the other thing. Why should this forum be torn apart by so many "off-shoots"? Why should we even allow it?

If you believe what you believe, and you wish to think of yourself as a PROGRESSIVE Seventh-day Adventist, then more power to you, and GOD BLESS. However, I should not have to deal with this on a daily basis, and frankly it's the main reason I only come here once in a great while...it's TIRING.

I would like to see this going on in any other denomination in here, even the catholic one, and see how long it lasts. To me that is what this is like...it would be like having Baptists, Protestants, Lutherans, etc. etc. etc. going into a clearly marked CATHOLIC FORUM, and the members of that forum having to listen to people telling them that they are closed minded because they don't want to hear why someone is no longer a Catholic and doesn't believe that they are the one true church, over and over on a daily basis.

Now, I know a lot of that goes on in the GT forum. I can't answer for the One Bread One Body forum because I don't go there. Out of respect, I do not go in that forum. I have my own thoughts and feelings about the catholic religion, but it's not my place to go into THEIR forum and tell them all about those feelings.

Whether it is intentional or not, it's how it feels in this forum anymore. Every time I come in here I have to read about how Traditional Seventh-day Adventists are closed minded, and don't want to learn anything new. How we are doing so many things wrong, how wrong we are to not allow others to come here and tell us all about ourselves.

Personally, I'm sick to death of it.

I'M A TRADITIONAL SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST BY CHOICE(!!!), and I'm tired of people attempting to make me feel stupid or small because of that choice.

If I'm more than willing to give you the respect you deserve for the way in which you choose to worship the Lord, I would only expect the same respect in return.

If you want to creat a Bickering SDA Forum to quench your desire for constant debate, petition CF and see if they'll give you one.

I'm just terribly tired of it going on in here.

Thank you for listening. I mean no disrespect to any one poster. I just expressed my feelings, and that's all. What's more, I don't believe I'm ALONE in those feelings.

Isn't that what the three different subForums are about?
