As an extra incentive, if at the end of the four weeks, the total has been taken above 2 million, I will make an extra one off bonus payment in addition to whatever Tom makes.

But only if we get to 2 million by the end of the 4 weeks.

PLEASE READ!!!!!

OK, well a while ago i promised a sort of game which hopefully will make up for my woeful contributions to this fund so far. So here is my challenge.

This challenge is going to last for the next four weeks and will commence the moment after Andy banks this weeks blessings total.
In the first week for every unique individual (not unique member but unique individual so no sock puppets please) donates 500 blessings or more or will match those blessings with 500 of my own. For the following week if the same poster donates an additional 500 blessings or more then i will donate 1000 blessings. The following week if the same poster donates 500 blessings or more then i will give 1500 blessings. The following week if the same poster donates 500 blessings or more then i will donate 2000 blessings. That potentially means for a donation of 2000 blessings over a month an additional 5000 blessings will be donated on your behalf.

You can come into the challenge at any time or take a week away, but the donations i will match will go up incrementaly and this challenge will only last four weeks. A few hypothetical situations. If you donate on weeks 1,2 and 4 then i will donate 500,1000 and 1500. If you donate on weeks 2 and 4 then i will donate 500 and 1000 blessings. I hope that makes sense.

One finaly incentive. If you stay with the challenge for the entire four weeks then then there will be a special bonus donation - the ammount of which will be revealled at the end of the challenge.

However, if you usually donate more than 500 blessings a week then please keep that donation up. The aim of this challenge is certainly not to reduce how much people donate to the fund but increase and also bring more people to it.

Terms and conditions: I've no idea how many people are going to take part in this challenge. There's a chance i will not be able to match all the blessings by banking time at the end of the week. However i do promise to eventually honour all donations but you may have to bear with me for a couple of weeks.

This challenge will commence the second after Andy banks the current total. PLEASE BRING US MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN HERE!!!!!!

EDIT: In order to keep track of things could all donatees please make a quick post. Things could very easily get far too complicated otherwise.

ANDY ADDS: As an extra incentive, if at the end of the four weeks, the total has been taken above 2 million, I will make an extra one off bonus payment in addition to whatever Tom makes.

But only if we get to 2 million by the end of the 4 weeks.

good thing I'm a Texan...not American...

To be serious for a moment, how much do you mean by that?

To put things in context i see my self as British above anything else (ie. English or European). I know a few Welsh people however ( ) who see themselves as Welsh rather than British.

Are you honestly Texan instead of American?

Texans are pretty proud folks (but not to proud...that the former Lutheran in me talking)...but I suppose if it came down to brass tacks I guess I would say I'm an American...but there are those here who wish Texas was still a Republic...

hey, what is the holiday called tomorrow? Memorial Day?

It's a holiday in the UK tomorrow, too, but it's just called August Bank Holiday, and doesnt' commemorate anything.
