Being gay is a sin just like lying, cheating, stealing, murder, gossiping, and all the others the bible mentions.

With out jesus no one goes to heaven..

You can't have Jesus if you hold closer to one of these sins, than you do him.. That means if you want to be gay or hold to the right of being gay more important than you love Jesus,

then no you don't go to heaven..

being gay doesnt make you go to hell...

involving in gay/lesbian behaviors is sin and therefore you will have to repent or be judged. any type of adultery is sin, even if you are only lusting within your mind and not showing your feelings outwardly. goes for both sides of the coin. if we fornicate we repent or get judged... no one is supposed to fornicate. no one is supposed to touch. no one is supposed to lust for someone other than their spouse, or if unmarried, for anyone. thats the rule. we all get judged if we dont repent for those sins.

Ok, here's the problem.

Paul is anti-homosexuality. Paul is also "Salvation based on Grace alone".

Jesus never mentioned homosexuality at all. He did mention sodom and Gamora(spelling?). Ezekiel 16:49-50 clearly states the sins of sodom.

49 " 'Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. 50 They were haughty and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen.

Some take verse 50 to mean homosexuality, but some don't. If it had been homosexuality, they would have used the same word they used in Leviticus for abomination. (atleast, thats how I see it.)

Jesus also explains that salvation is based on actions, and then james goes on and says that its both Faith and actions.

That's a common misconception that Sodom and Gomorrah was filled with homosexuals. In fact, the Sodom and Gomorrah story suggests that the citites were filled with all sorts of people who sinned on a sexual basis... people having sex with animals, etc...

I think this is the verse you are thinking of. I totally agree with you. The sin is the sex act of homosexual sex, just like fornicating and adultery.

The important question is this: Is wackyjo a child of God? Has this person accepted Christ as Lord and Saviour? Then, by the power of the Holy Spirit, she can discern these things by reading scripture and be convicted in her heart by the Spirit as to the sin that is in homosexual sex.

God says it is good to marry, but better not to marry if you can help it. (because you lose your mobility, and God couldnt use you to spread his gospel as good.)
If two lesbians got married, they would lose the mobility of singleness, yet not gain the ability to biologically have children.

God designed two different genders, male and female.
It is very possible to change your sexual orientation at any time, so why would you want to be lesbian? Why dont you just use the system God designed?

Will it send you to hell? If it was sinful, that would be the same as a heathen accepting Jesus's forgiveness, then going off and smoking weed, orgies, incest, stealing and then expecting to go to heaven.

So is it sinful? maybe, maybe not, if the bible doesnt say it is then i guess its not. Who cares, just use the system God designed, it would probly work better.. besides having to switch your sexual orientation

BUT, the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ. If a lesbian accepts Christ, she is a child of God, sealed for eternity in Him. PERIOD.

I find hating, lust, being a liar and a thief less excusable than struggling with homosexuality, which many people never asked to have, because we choose to hate, steal, lie, and lust.

Imagine if you had these feelings. How confused would you be? I can't begin to know what it must feel like. Many people who have these feelings have been sexually abused from what I have seen. Think about that.

Like you said we are all destined to hell, there is none that can escape. That is what the Bible means when it says "For all have sinned, and fallen short of the Glory of God"

We broke Gods law, and Jesus paid the fine. By all rights we deserve hell because of our sin. But God didn't want that, and neither do I.

If I wanted someone to go to hell, like you said, then why would I go out and witness, why would I call sinners to repentence.

I think you have twisted what I said, and it is clear that you are wrong. To make the call saying I want them going to hell, means you know my heart.

God knows my heart! Are you god?
