If the Vietnamese are willing to work for 75% less wages than us, then we need to increase the tariffs so that their product costs 75% more than homemade products, sold here in the US...Point being, it's the same US money being used for the sake of manufacturing without the job losses, retirement losses, and business shutdowns.
You have to think about as a business would which again is why Trump doesn't even bring his manufactured goods back here, does it make business sense? The average production worker pay in Vietnam is 75% less than it is in the states. They practically have to pay no US taxes on offshore revenue. They are literally showing you and telling you they aren't coming back.
....Then, they have to come back. Or they go out of business. .
