  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I got this from someone who sent it to me years ago, the purpose of which is to show why it is important to understand “context” and progressive nature of “the times” in which God’s great plan was revealed to us in the Scriptures ... or you will never clearly understand just what the Scripture is telling us ... today ... in this the 21st Century.

(1 Corinthians 12:4-6) 4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

The following Bible questions are just a few issues that present an insight into some of the scriptures that relate to the understanding of the "dispensation of grace" (Ephesians 3:2)

Jesus instructed the Apostles "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (Mark 16:15 ). And Jesus said “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:” (Matthew 28:19 )

Paul said " But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter" (Galatians 2:7-8 ).

But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:" (Acts 9:15 ).

Question: (1a) Were the Apostles to go to "all the world" and “all nations” but only to the circumcised (Jews / children of Israel)?

Question: (1b)Was Paul to go to the uncircumcised (Gentiles), and if so why was Paul to bear the Lord's name "before the Gentiles, and kings, AND the children of Israel" ?

Question: (2)Why did Jesus tell the Apostles during his earthly ministry " Go not into the way of the Gentiles" but "go not except unto the lost sheep of Israel" ?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Matthew 10:5-6) These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Question: (3) What did Jesus mean when he told the "woman of Canaan" (a gentile) ", I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel." ? Why did he refer to the Jews as the children and her (a gentile) as the dogs ?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Matthew 15:24-25) But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs.

Question: (4) What did Paul mean when he stated "8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:” (Romans 15:8 )

Paul said “Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also. 2 And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, (Galatians 2:1-2) “5 But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses. 6 And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter. 7And when there had been much disputing, (Acts 15:5-7)

Question: (5) Why is it that “14 years” after the apostles had been teaching in Jerusalem when the “apostles and elders” came together to discuss “that gospel which I (Paul) preach among the Gentiles there were “certain of the sect of the Pharisees which BELIEVED” that “rose up” and there was “much disputing” ? How is it that these Pharisees which “believed” did not understand that it was clearly not necessary “to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses” after the twelve apostles had been teaching them personally for 14 years ?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Matthew 19:27-28) Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore? And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Question: (6) When Peter asked Jesus about his reward to come “what shall we have therefore?” Jesus replied “when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.” Why are the “twelve” Apostles only judging the “twelve tribes of Israel” ? Who judges everyone that is not of the twelve tribes ? Is Israel judged separate from others ? What about the Apostle Paul ?

(Matthew 24:15-20) “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand—then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let no one on the roof of his house go down to take anything out of the house. Let no one in the field go back to get his cloak. How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath.

(Colossians 2:16) Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day.

Question: (7) In speaking of the end times Jesus said “Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath.” Is this statement made to everyone Jews and Gentiles, and if so why would it matter to the Gentiles or Jews that are members of the Body of Christ in the Dispensation of Grace (Ephesians 3:2) if this happens on the “Sabbath” who are told “do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day.”

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

(2 Peter 3:15-16) 15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

(Galatians 2:11-14) 11 But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed. 12 For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision. 13 And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation. 14 But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all,

Question: (8) Why did Peter, James, and even Barnabas lost sight of the CRITICAL significance of “the dispensation of the grace” or these “things hard to be understood” (2 Peter 3:15-16) as Peter referred to it ? Paul stated “whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.” (Galatians 5:3-4) and “If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed” (Galatians 1:6-9) How could Peter and the others withdraw from these teachings with a full understanding of their importance ?

Read all of Ephesians 3:1-11

(James 2:17-24) In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do. You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder. You foolish man, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless? Was not our ancestor Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend. You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone.

(Romans 4:5-6) 5 However, to the man who does not work but trusts God who justifies the wicked, his faith is credited as righteousness. 6 David says the same thing when he speaks of the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works

(Romans 5:1-2) 1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand.

(Romans 10:9-10) 9 That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

(Romans 11:3-6) 3 ”Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left, and they are trying to kill me” ? 4 And what was God’s answer to him? “I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” 5 So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. 6 And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace

Question: (9) Why is it that the letter written by James that is addressed to “the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad” (James 1:1) makes statements that seem to be in direct conflict with statements made by the Apostle Paul.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Matthew 19:16-21) And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

(Matthew 5:17-18) Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

(Galatians 5:2-6) Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

Question: (10) When the rich man ask Jesus “what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life ?”Jesus replied “but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.” Also Jesus said “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.” But the Apostle Paul stated “Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law (the commandments) ; ye are fallen from grace.” Why does there seem to be a disagreement between these statements ?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Acts 1:5) Jesus said “ For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence”

(Ephesians 4-5) There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

Question: (11) Jesus said “For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.” In (Acts 8:12-16) and (Acts 19:1-8) believers were baptized with water but had not received the Holy Spirit, but in (Acts 10:44) at the house of Cornelius “While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.” and then afterwards they were Baptized with water. Jesus indicated there are two separate baptisms one with water, and one with the Holy Spirit. So what did Paul mean when he said there is “one baptism” ?

(John 12:20-24) 20 And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast: 21 The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus. 22 Philip cometh and telleth Andrew: and again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus. 23 And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. 24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

Question: (12) These “certain Greeks” came to see Jesus “Sir, we would see Jesus”. Did he agree to see them ? What did his comment mean ?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Question: (13) Jesus Christ specifically instructed the 12 Apostles to baptize with water. (Mark 16:14-18 & Matthew 28:16-20) Why did the Apostle Paul say "For Christ sent me not to baptize" ?

(1 Corinthians 1:17-18) For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

I posted this which answers you, earlier.
http://www.christianforums.com/showpost.php?p=27802245&postcount=14
How Paul explained it:
works of the flesh =bad;
works of the Spirit =good;
Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Col 1:21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in [your] mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

1Ti 2:10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

1Ti 5:10 Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints' feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work.

1Ti 5:25 Likewise also the good works [of some] are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid.

1Ti 6:18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;

2 timothy 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned [them];
15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16

All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2Ti 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Tts 2:7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine [shewing] uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
9 [Exhort] servants to be obedient unto their own masters, [and] to please [them] well in all [things]; not answering again;
10 Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.

11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

Tts 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Tts 3:8 [This is] a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

Tts 3:14 And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.

How Paul agrees with James;
Jam 2:14 What [doth it] profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?

Jam 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

Jam 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

Jam 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

Jam 2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?

Jam 2:22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

Jam 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

Jam 2:25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent [them] out another way?

Jam 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Jam 3:13 Who [is] a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

1Pe 2:12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by [your] good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

How James and Peter and Paul agree with Jesus;
Rev 2:2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:

Rev 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

Rev 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and [I know] the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but [are] the synagogue of Satan.

Rev 2:13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, [even] where Satan's seat [is]: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas [was] my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

Rev 2:19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last [to be] more than the first.

Rev 2:23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

Rev 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

Rev 3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.

Rev 3:2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.

Rev 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

Rev 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot."

Jesus came preaching the kingdom of God -but he baptized in water: but Jesus did not baptize, only his disciples.
Paul preached the kingdom of God, and Paul baptized in water, but his co-workers did most of the baptizing, but Paul did baptize in water, and even re-baptized those 12 in Ephesus who were Beleivers, but who had never received the Holy Spirit nor had heard of Him! -Paul baptized them again, in the name of Jesus, and they received the enduement with power from on high!
I answered this already on another thread here
http://www.christianforums.com/showpost.php?p=27804624&postcount=24
Jhn 3:23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.

Jhn 4:1 When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John,

Jhn 4:2 (Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,)

The Great Commission;
Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Paul and the Great Commission, baptizing the jailor;
Act 16:30
And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
Act 16:31
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
Act 16:32
And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.
Act 16:33
And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed [their] stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.

Luke with Paul, testifuing to Paul's obedience to the Great Commission:
Act 16:13
And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted [thither].
Act 16:14
And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard [us]: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.
Act 16:15
And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought [us], saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide [there]. And she constrained us.

Paul baptizes Crispus, in corinth, and many of the Corinthians believed, and were baptized under Paul's Testimony of Jesus Christ;

Act 18:8
And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized.

Water Baptism is not done by the Holy Spirit, but by obedient men, to those who are obedient to the One Gospel.

The Holy Spirit of regeneration is given by Christ to His own called, who respond to Him.

The Holy Spirit of power is given to Christ by the Father, who gives that to Believers who are regenerated in Spirit -and who ask for it.

the Holy spirit of glory was given to Christ, the Israel of Gd when He ascended as the Anointed Fiorstborn of earth, and He also sent that in a measure of promise to al Believers.

YHWH is a Trinity, there is the Holy Spirit of
Regeneration, and of Power, and of Glory.

these three are all "YHWH"; but three "persons" in YHWH; The Son, the Spirit, and The Father.

Then, water baptism is not "Spirit" but an act of obedience done by obedient servants of Jesus Christ, to those who are born again, into the Living Spirit, and adopted from the dead spirit, Adam.

So you don't have any answers to the numbered questions ... but wish to swamp the thread so others might be dissuaded from thinking about them.

That too is interesting ...

.
Swamp" Ha!
You MAD'S have the "swamp the threads queen" flooding the forum here:)
I see you made the same claims I had answered with Scripture, already, and instead of working to cut and paste Scripture, which takes time [which your article was not a labor of yours? -but a repost of someone else's doctrine?-] then I went and got my reply to the "same ole same ole", which is what I think I will continue to do, as your crowd puts up the same arguments and never recognizes the Scriptural rebuttals.

Those Scriptures I posted show your position in error.

[You have not answered my replies and questions to you on several threads, esp I would like an answer to the one I posted to you on tongues and marraige.]

Question: (1a) Were the Apostles to go to "all the world" and “all nations” but only to the circumcised (Jews / children of Israel)?

Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Question:
(1b)Was Paul to go to the uncircumcised (Gentiles), and if so why was Paul to bear the Lord's name "before the Gentiles, and kings, AND the children of Israel" ?
"Through this man (Christ) is preached unto you (the Jew) forgiveness of sins; and by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses." (Acts 13:39.)

Question:
(2)Why did Jesus tell the Apostles during his earthly ministry " Go not into the way of the Gentiles" but "go not except unto the lost sheep of Israel" ?
Eph 2:14-17 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

Question: (3) What did Jesus mean when he told the "woman of Canaan" (a gentile) ", I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel." ? Why did he refer to the Jews as the children and her (a gentile) as the dogs ?

Christ was confirming the promises made by the Father, it was His pesonal earthly ministry. Romans 15:8

Question: (4) What did Paul mean when he stated "8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:” (Romans 15:8 )

Paul meant that Christ did, in fact, fulfill the promises made by God the Father so the Gentiles would glorify God seeing that He is faithful. v.9

Question:
(5) Why is it that “14 years” after the apostles had been teaching in Jerusalem when the “apostles and elders” came together to discuss “that gospel which I (Paul) preach among the Gentiles there were “certain of the sect of the Pharisees which BELIEVED” that “rose up” and there was “much disputing” ? How is it that these Pharisees which “believed” did not understand that it was clearly not necessary “to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses” after the twelve apostles had been teaching them personally for 14 years ?
They were Pharisees.

This is probably due to Israel's rejection of Christ and not a general judgement.

Gal 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

2Co 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

1Co 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

Question: (7) In speaking of the end times Jesus said “Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath.” Is this statement made to everyone Jews and Gentiles, and if so why would it matter to the Gentiles or Jews that are members of the Body of Christ in the Dispensation of Grace (Ephesians 3:2) if this happens on the “Sabbath” who are told “do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day.”

Jesus and Paul agree on the End Times, what you suggest creates a false dichatomy.

Question:
(8) Why did Peter, James, and even Barnabas lost sight of the CRITICAL significance of “the dispensation of the grace” or these “things hard to be understood” (2 Peter 3:15-16) as Peter referred to it ? Paul stated “whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.” (Galatians 5:3-4) and “If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed” (Galatians 1:6-9) How could Peter and the others withdraw from these teachings with a full understanding of their importance ?
They couldn't have. That would mean Peter wasn't a believer if he rejected this "Gospel of the dispensation of Grace." If any apostle taught "another Gospel" it would be false according to your own dispensational framework.

Rom 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which WE preach;

1Co 1:23 But WE preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

1Co 15:11 Therefore whether it were I or they, so WE preach, and so ye believed.

2Co 4:5 For WE preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

Col 1:28 Whom WE preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

There was another thread in this forum that listed the unity of the teaches between Peter and Paul, but it was burried.

Question: (9) Why is it that the letter written by James that is addressed to “the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad” (James 1:1) makes statements that seem to be in direct conflict with statements made by the Apostle Paul.

John Gill writes:
to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad; by whom are meant believing Jews, who were of the several tribes of Israel, and which were in number "twelve", according to the number and names of the twelve patriarchs, the sons of Jacob; and these were not the Christian Jews, who were scattered abroad upon the persecution raised at the death of Stephen, Act_8:1 but they were the posterity of those who had been dispersed in former captivities, by the Assyrians and others, and who remained in the several countries whither they were carried, and never returned. The Jews say (f), that the ten tribes will never return, and that they will have no part nor portion in the world to come; but these the Gospel met with in their dispersion, and by it they were effectually called and converted, and are the same that Peter writes to, 1Pe_1:1 2Pe_1:1. And thus we read of an hundred and forty and four thousand sealed of all the tribes of Israel, Rev_7:4 and to these the apostle here sends greeting; that is, his Christian salutation, wishing them all happiness and prosperity, in soul and body, for time and eternity; and it includes all that grace, mercy, and peace, mentioned in the usual forms of salutation by the other apostles. The same form is used in Act_15:23 and since it was James that gave the advice there, which the rest of the apostles and elders came into, it is highly probable that the epistles sent to the Gentiles were dictated by him; and the likeness of the form of salutation may confirm his being the writer of this epistle.

Question:
(10) When the rich man ask Jesus “what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life ?”Jesus replied “but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.” Also Jesus said “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.” But the Apostle Paul stated “Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law (the commandments) ; ye are fallen from grace.” Why does there seem to be a disagreement between these statements ?
It means you must be perfect to get to heaven...and since no one is perfect...the law is used to drive us to Christ...there is only one way of salvation.

Question:
(11) Jesus said “For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.” In (Acts 8:12-16) and (Acts 19:1-8) believers were baptized with water but had not received the Holy Spirit, but in (Acts 10:44) at the house of Cornelius “While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.” and then afterwards they were Baptized with water. Jesus indicated there are two separate baptisms one with water, and one with the Holy Spirit. So what did Paul mean when he said there is “one baptism” ?

Only God's elect/true believers are baptised with the Holy Spirit. Under the Old Covenant there were many different baptisms and now there is only one baptism with the preaching of the Gospel.

Question: (12) These “certain Greeks” came to see Jesus “Sir, we would see Jesus”. Did he agree to see them ? What did his comment mean ?

The wall of partition was still in place, but that changed after Christ died [see Great Commission].

Question: (13) Jesus Christ specifically instructed the 12 Apostles to baptize with water. (Mark 16:14-18 & Matthew 28:16-20) Why did the Apostle Paul say "For Christ sent me not to baptize" ?

Paul was evangelist who was sent to preach and convert...there was a better answer given but it was burried...what's up with asking the same questions over and over and over again? This forum is given answers then they get burried.

Peace,

jm
