Most Gracious and Loving Father, we come before You in the Sweet and Precious Name of Jesus, to lift to You all the prayer requests in this forum. There are so many who are suffering and hurting and floundering. We only know a part of these requests but You know all of it. And You know the hearts of the people who have posted these requests. Father we ask that You work Your most perfect will in all these lives and situations, and that You receive great Glory and Honor through it all. We love You, Father, and we give You thanks and praise for not only the answer to this prayer, but also for the written assurance in Your Word that You will hear and answer. But most of all we give You thanks for the Gift of Love in the person of Jesus, who gave all for us, and it is in His Loving and Precious Name we pray to You through the leading of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
