Hey cygnusx can you remember Jimi Hendrix music?
How about the Temptations and Deep purple? How about the Monkeys? *Hey Hey we are the monkeys*...lol
I know I am telling on myself actually It is the picture I may have to take it down.
Oh yes who was it that sang rain on the roof?
Remembers the mama's and the papa's?
Do you Remember??
I understand if you don't... you would be too young?
Hi there Evee , do I remember Jimi Hendrix music , well let me see , I first heared Jimi on a tape my Dad bought me about 1973/4 it was "Smash Hits" and I played it in my Mum's car when she went shopping , and I suddenly thought , that is a weird sound on the guitar , kinda tinny and fuzzy and rhythmic and exciting ......... been a massive Hendrix fan ever since .
The Temptations were wonderful , The Monkeys scared me (their hair was stranger than the Beatles) Deep Purple I like , but not as much as Sabbath and Queen. They are worth seeing now , because they have a world class guitarist Steve Morse, son of a Minister I believe.;)

And the Mamas and the Papas ......... California dreaming was probably the first record I ever owned , my sister gave me a bunch of singles and her record player , that song is still great , many have covered it , but the original is best I think.

Yes I am too young to remember most of this stuff , but I was an early developer ....... I see Van Morrison in a few nights , D.V.

Greetings
Cygnus:)

Can a free and democratic society eventually consider evolutionary humanism as a prerequisite for the insipidness that prevails today?
Hi there Avatar , is there such a thing as a free democratic society ?
Take Ukrania , they voted and it looks like it was a fix , maybe all voting is fixed , I mean it is all down to trust isn't it ?
And America has refused to accept the outcome of the vote ........ mmmmmmm ... as for evolutionary humanism , I don't believe in either concept , maybe I am wrong , who knows , I just think all things are pretty much what they were at the beginning , or at least very soon after ........ [please don't expect me to debate this , I am clueless remember]

to the generation just before me it was The Beatles (see my autograph) but to me and 'my generation ' it was Queen ....... it is difficult for me to say exactly what I feel about Queen , I have many deep feelings and teenage memories of their unique groundbreaking and often surprising songs and ideas.
They are My Beatles ........ 'A Night At The Opera' remains my fav album.

Bless you Evee

Heh. I memorized that question at the age of 13 after reading it in a Wizard of Id comic strip. A peasant posed that question to the King, and after a short pause, he answered 'yes.'.

And what the heck is Ukrania?

:D

One last question is Thanksgiving celebrated in your country?
Is there any famous people from Wales...other than you of course?
Thanksgiving isn't celebrated here Evee , the nearest we have to that is Harvest Festival , a simple thing by comparison.

Famous Welsh people ........... mmmmm , Dylan Thomas the Poet , The Manic Street Preachers , Catherine Zeta Jones , Shirley Bassey , Ivor The Engine and Mr Jones ......... and Carol Vordeman , she was born in the same place as me........ I think ...

there are really loads of Famous Welsh peeps , But my brain is clueless "see in it "
..... famous Welsh Beer ....... "BRAINS" .......... would you believe it :D

here's a few more http://www.lastminute-wales.com/default.asp?id=3

There lurks a mysterious, invisible force
The black hole
Of cygnus x-1

Six stars of the northern cross
In mourning for their sister’s loss
In a final flash of glory
Nevermore to grace the night...."

Hi, Cygnus :)

Well, you probably know by now that I love most British comedies. They are just awesomely funny, or is it that my sense of humour suits their wacky style of humour? ;) Anyway, that's not my question..... this is:

Which 3 comedies, in your opinion, are the best ever produced by the Brits?
