I have a 17 year old too, my stepdaughter. I didn't come into her life until she was 7. My younger kids get 'corner time' and she thinks its hilarious when I tell her "Are you ever lucky I didn't think of putting you in the corner when you were 7, you'd still be going there!"

LOl Yeah teen agers can be so fun. My sons have been pretty good though. I feel very fortunate. My oldest son who is 21 loved arguing with me........(he was hard headed like me) Needless to say he moved out LOL
