100 day projects

Anyone else's child doing projects for the 100th day of school? DS's project was to glue 100 of the same object to a poster board. He glued 100 pennies in the shape of a guitar. Anybody else want to share?

My daughter had that same project in kindergarten I think. She glued sweet tart hearts in the shape of a rainbow on a piece of cardboard. So far, I haven't heard that either of my kids have a project this year.

I think it's a kindergarten thing. My oldest colored 100 pictures. She worked on it for months before hand.

My little one is doing something with stickers, lol. We haven't quite made it to day 100 yet.

A cute one that I saw once...a little boy went out and collected 100 duck feathers and glued them on a picture of a baby duck. it was cute.

I think it is mostly a kindergarten thing. I bet the duck was cute. I wonder where he got 100 feathers. We only had about a weeks notice so we couldn't do anything that required long term collecting.

yeah I just found the note... he is suppose to bring 100 of one item... we're doing the pennies... plus they are also going to be making a trail mix, and I have to send a bag of one of a list ofitems for that...

I am just going to have to insist on going through his backpack everyday to find out what is going on...

My oldest son had 100 safety pins stuck to his shirt, and my youngest wanted 100 round, colored stickers stuck all over himself.

In kindergarten my kids had to count out 100 snacks (like peanuts, raisins, cereal) and then it was all mixed up into trail mix-like stuff for them to share.
