10 Commandments Challenge!

A group of us went to the Winter Jam concert to evangelize and encourage all the people who were waiting in the lines to get in. What's unique about this concert is... It's a Christian concert so most people said they are believers and you don't preorder tickets so you wait in line and have to buy them at the door. It was a great time talking with people and I even decided to do the 10 Commandments Challenge with a few of the groups there. Just a fun way to get people to get people to think while waiting in line.

That is very similar to what I do. I ask people the10 Commandments and then I lead them to the Good Person Test. This then leads to the Gospel. I do it with believers and non-believers alike as there are many who say that they are Christians but they are still stuck in their sins. So, they take the Law lightly.

Another thing you can do, if they are believers is, ask them to rate their Christian walk out of 10. 10 being really good (they read their bible and pray daily), while 1 is really bad. Most will say that they are about 5 or 6. If they say this, I then say to them: -
"Imagine that you and I are going skydiving together and you were to ask me how tight my parachute is. You ask me to rate how tight it is out of 10. 10 being really tight and 1 being very loose. If I were then to say my parachute is only a 5 or 6 out of 10, you would say to me, "Don't Jump! Tighten your straps". And so, I am now saying to you to tighten up your straps. Start putting God first as you do not know when you will have to jump into eternity."

Another thing you can ask someone if they say that they are a Christian is:
“How can Jesus dying on the cross help you 2000 years later? You're under God's wrath you're heading for hell. How can the death of Jesus help you? Not sure. Let me share the Gospel with you, and if you can get a grip of this, it's going to change everything for you."
Then say the Gospel.

Does anyone else know of other things you can say when witnessing to people who say that they are believers?

This looks really good to me and a good place considering it is a Christian. I haven't quite watched but I expect it to work well. I think some people like to be tested these days. Get them stretching their minds a bit. I wonder as a test if tried say at a bus stop waiting but then don't then who is Christian you have to ask. But quiz this is really a good idea. Stretch it anyway you can. Good luck. Not that you need it but I wish you well.

I have been trying to find easy ways to approach non-believers and then tell them the Gospel. I personally find going up to a stranger and saying the full Gospel very scary. I read on this forum about a challenge where the stranger must name all the 10 Commandments in 60 seconds. If they get...

Thanks for sharing, Nathan! That's one thing I didn't do was go to the Gospel with the people I challenged with the 10 Commandments.

We passed out these tracts/booklets to many of the people who said they are belivers (I just ordered some for myself!) to give them something to think about...
