1 unforivage sin

Hey

i was praying after reading about it and by mistake said (in my head) that i renounced the holy spirit which i dont and now i dont feel God.

Is it all in my head, what can i do ?

Don't listen with your head, listen with your heart.

God knows you didn't mean that thought. It may be Satan trying to trip you up.

The important thing is: Do you want a relationship with God in the Spirit? If so, then seek Him with all your heart. Love God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength. Love others as yourself.


If you are in Christ, then God has given you the promise of the Holy Spirit. You are born again of the Spirit, you are sealed with the holy Spirit. You are an adopted child or God and promises never to leave you nor forsake you.

If you are not in Christ, call upon the name of the Lord. Turn from yourself and toward God. open your heart to Him and let Him come into your life. Humbly confess your faults to Him that you may recieve forgiveness and Mercy in Christ's name. Jesus died for your sins. Acknowledge that in you heart. Believe Him for your salvation. Believe that He will raise you up as He was raised up on the third day.

God is merciful. Find out for yourself.

You know that was a big fear of mine, when I had read that scripture for the first time.

Take some time, do some reading, and discover what blasphemy is. So then you will understand exactly what blashemy of the Holy Spirit is.

It also helps to go back to the story in Genesis of the Garden of Eden. The reason we need to be born again, is because of what happened in the Garden when Adam and Eve ate of the tree that brought death into the world.

So then to be born again, and then partake of that same fruit which causes death, that would be second death.

And I believe to die the second death, blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, is to take an action, just like what happened in the garden.

Now the way I read from scriptures, blasphemy is all manor of lies. And this particular blasphemy would be a direct lie to the Spirit within you and to God. Not the kind where you just lie to another person, but you would be going before God in a state of truth, and lying. Like what happened with Ananias and Sapphira, they were not lying to Peter, within their hearts, they were lying to God and hiding the truth.

I dont know about you personally, but when I am faced with a situation where someone comes right out and askes me a question point blank, and wants the truth, it is impossible for me to lie. I may not want that person to know, but something in me wont let me lie. (Perhaps it is along those lines, where the Spirit within you guides you to be truthful, and then if you decide to go against the Spirit of truth within you and lie, perhaps it is something more along those lines- however remembering, with Sapphira, she was given the opportunity for truth. She was point blank asked, and important to note in this example she would have been in the presence of Peter a spokesman for God, who by the Spirit asked her for the truth, and then she lied. Even though the money was always theirs to do with what they wanted, which was not the point, the point was they lied about it, to God).

So anyways, this is my take on this subject.

You have not done this, so you have not blasphemed the Holy Spirit.

Just always listen to the Spirit within you. It is his job to guide you into truth. Revealing the nature of God to you. Dont hide from God. Always be truthful and honest with him, allowing him to see who you really are. He will perfect you in his ways.

It is true that we should trust in the what we know to be the truth of God in our mind rather than what we feel with our emotions. The trouble with what is in our mind is that we are not always the sole depositors of what is in our minds! There are plenty of thoughts that are in our minds constantly which are not properly our own. If a frenzied parking lot driver calls me a "dummy" because I was using his roadway, that thought will probably stick around in my mind, unfortunately, until it is forgotten, but it is still his thought that is in my mind and not truly my thought of my own origin. Sometimes Satan will involuntarily place certain thoughts in our minds with such subtle, silent skill, that we just might buy that thought as being our own. Of course it is, then, all a part of a classic "set-up" to condemn us for thinking such an awful thought when in reality it is his awful thought that is in our minds and not properly our own. If this thought just kind of popped into your mind without your own deliberate, conscious, willing and commending consent, then just drop the whole thing into the trash where it belongs because this is no where near the qualifications necessary to constitute the unforgiveable sin. I would just get busy "Loving the Lord God with all of your heart..." and kill two birds with one stone:
#1 - You will be blessed for so doing!
#2 - You will also finally dismiss the lie that you willfully commited this sin as an abandoned soul can never lovingly obey the Lord. It just isn't possible.

Our mind is a battleground, and our heart is our spiritual mind.

Now if our heart isn't released from all our hurts, offences, bitterness, and unforgiveness, then your mind is the only thing that will work, and that area is Satan's ground.

So, my dear brother in Christ, it may be the right time for you start to heal your heart and begin those steps to your Freedom in Christ.

I don't know what religion you are but I believe that you need some good spiritual support and healing.

Time for pastoral advice and help.

I think it takes more than that and it probably didn't even come from you...more a thought that popped in your head from yourself but yo didn't mean. Either way ask for forgiveness and dont be so down on yourself and begin enjoying the Lord! Thoughts will pop in and out of your mind all the time that don't count. And always remember, whether you feel God is there or not...God is still there. If you have obscessive negatve thoughts then you may need treatment for something that is not under your control. That's ok! You are ok! Things like this happen tto people all the time. Move on and be happy.

I think what Jesus was saying in Mark about blaspheming the Holy Ghost was that the pharisees were seeing Jesus' miracles and saying that He was casting them out with a devil. In the sense that Jesus put it with the issue He was dealing with at the time, I think He was saying that if you know something is from the Spirit and say it was satan or evil, that is blaphemy... Be blessed, my brother, in the name of Jesus.

Let the thought go. Worrying about it is what it "wants"; don't indulge it.

That's just it! Thoughts are fleeting. They are like dreams sometimes. I've had some pretty odd and raunchy thoughts just come up out of the blue, and I stand there wondering how I even came up with that.

I think a lot of it comes from things we onbserve or hear from others, or seen on TV or in a movie. We tend to fill our minds with all kinds of garbage and the mind will remember these things and recall them.

Philippians 4:8-9 says:

"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you."

What we need to do is meditate on His Word (Psalm 119:9-10) and renew our minds (Romans 12:1-2). Put in the good things in so good things will come out.

What?

What do you mean "feel God"? If you think you sinned so bad God won't be in your heart anymore... then, yes, you will have problems feeling the fire of God living inside your heart. But, do not worry!

First of all, note that such wicked arrows come from either your own sinful flesh or from the dark spirits. These are not from the real you, which is born of the Holy Spirit.

Paul notes, in Romans, that when we consider good and Holy things, that sin in us arises against it. To put this another way, expect to have sinful thoughts and arrows from the Devil when contemplating or praying.

Faith... is this power to continue onwards, despite this onslaught. Inner strength connects through this faith. Faith is created through love.

What you must do, therefore, is to remember, as Paul wrote in Romans, that if we hate our sin, then we know it is not or no longer of us... because we hate it. By hating it we show that it is not of us. We hate sins we have done through repentance. We hate sins that approach us already, when we do not need to repent.

We should expect, as Christians, to not have a inner life which is always free from such onslaught. Rather, the rain will come, but we shall and do stand regardless.

What the wicked ones want... is to trick you with such things... to confuse you... to make you lose faith... and this they have done, if only so temporarily.

Remember, do you believe and trust God to love you regardless of what you may say or do or think? Trust, therefore, in the loving forgiveness of God, and put all such things behind you... by hating them.

It does sound like this is but a temptation which arose in your (to word it differently, but still adequately, now)... you are not acknowledged as being sinful if you merely have a temptation. Blasphemous temptation is no different from sexual temptation nor any other manner of temptation. Simply resist it, deny it, pray for God to remove such wickedness from you, and continue on.

Always continue on, in faith. You must work on that relationship with God.

And do not forget, God let's us go very often, He lets us sin, so we might know that without Him, we are nothing. Such failures keep us humble.

So, see this as what it is... a trick. This is spiritual warfare, and the other side means business.
