When something is a pattern and front stage like suicide this month , I try and see what God has to say.
He never fails to give a clear answer.

1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.


When we do not make this our life verse we end up in a place of darkness and fall into a pit of despair .
We are not made for this planet. Our souls long for God but when fill that longing with anything but Him not matter what and how much it will leave us empty...

Yes; and the void - the vanity that Ecclesiastes speaks of - can easily be filled with unprofitable things if by prayer and the Scriptures we do not pursue spiritually-minded priorities.
