Hello, we are fixing to try to see what paul is saying

    • 1.Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

In verse one Paul is declaring that the gospel of the Life, Death, Burial, and Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, which the brothers which accepted and stood in truth of what had been said by the apostles and the Lord Yeshua.

    • 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

in verse two Because of their belief, if you keep in memory what I preached to you, unless you have no belief your faith is in vain.

    • 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

    • 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

In verse three, Paul has given everything he has received how that Christ died for sins according to the scriptures:

    • 5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:

    • 6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

In verse five and six Jesus Christ was risen again, and seen by Cephas, and then of the twelve: and the seen above five hundred brothers at once, of whom the greater part remain to this present. Though some are fallen asleep to this truth.

    • 7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.

    • 8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

In verse seven and eight After those five hundred other brothers, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. The last of all he was seen of me also, as one one born out of due time.

    • 9 For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

    • 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

In verse nine Paul claims himself to be least of all the apostles, and was never met to be called an apostle because he use to run around persecuting many people and others in different countries.

In verse ten, Paul expresses relief in the Grace god gave from paul claims that I am what I am. His grace was bestwoed upon me was not in vain. I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I but the Grace of God was with me. Paul is all expressing relief for the holy spirit that was given for him to be able to so many wonderful things by the grace of God that he was responsible for.

    • 11 Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.

    • 12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?

    • 13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:

In verse eleven, Paul says so because of the Grace of God, we are capable of many things. Because of the knowledge that you had gained from understanding that Yeshua the messiah Christ, who was the Son of God had came and died on the cross, and this is why Yeshua is explained many times throughout scriptures. They believe he died, on the cross and that He had lived again after death.

In verse twelve and thirtheen, If preaching about Christ Yeshua/Jesus, and are talking about your faith. Do you ever express your faith in how he lived on this earth, and what about how did reading about what Yeshua had done in someone ones life, that amazed you about what he was able to do? Though even when Yeshua raised someone up from the dead still some questioned who this Son of Man was. If had no rose from the dead our faith would be in vain. Because Christ has not risen.

    • 14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

    • 15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.

    • 16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:

    • 17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

    • 18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
    In verse fourteen through eighteen.
Paul is responding to those who say that the resurrection was not real.

In verse fifteen, Paul expresses that the apostles are found false witnesses of God. Because of having testify that God did raise Christ Yeshua, and whom he had raised not up, is so be that the dead rise not.

In verse sixteen, For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised?

In verse seventeen, If Christ not be raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins?
Why would someone be in their sins because of the faith being vain? If Christ had not raised them into a new lift.

In eighteen, some people are fallen asleep in Christ already dead.

    • 19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

    • 20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

    • 21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

    • 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
    Verse nineteen, through twenty two.

In verse nineteen. If in this life only we have hope in Christ. We are of all men most miserable. Now is Christ is risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept ( For those in the realm of the dead) being the first one to over come death.

In verse twenty one, From since by man came death, by man come also to the resurrection of the dead. Verse twenty two, For as in Adam all died, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

    • 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

    • 24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

    • 25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

    • 26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
In verse twenty three we see Paul proclaiming every man in his own order; Christ Yeshua is the firstfruits, and afterwards they that are at the coming of Christ, once again.

In verse twenty four, explained further by Paul. Then comes the end. When he shall have delivered up the kingdom of God, even the Father; when he shall put down all rule and all authority and power.

In verse twenty five it is explained that the Lord Jesus Christ must reign with God until he had put all enemies under his feet. Sin/Hell/Satan/Death

In verse twenty six it explains the last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. Who was the only one to ever conquer death ?

    • 27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

    • 28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

    • 29 Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?
In verse twenty seven ; For Yeshua hath put all things under his feet. When he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

In verse twenty eight. When all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the son also himself to subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

What do you think about verse in twenty eight? So that God may be all in all?

In verse twenty nine. A question is asked about, Baptism for the dead, if not dead rise not at all why then are they baptizing their own dead.

    • 30 And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?

    • 31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

    • 32 If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.
In verse thirty, Paul explains how are we going to all stand around and play twenty one questions with each other every hour.

In verse thirty one, Paul explains that He protest with rejoicing in the Lord Jesus Christ our Lord which Paul explains dying daily to.

In verse thirty two. Maybe explaining why have not the spirit not risen with in them.

    • 33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

    • 34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

    • 35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
In verse thirty three Paul explains more about the spirit, and saying be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

In verse thirty four Paul, says awake to righteousness, (the spirit), and sin not, for some have not the knowledge of God, I speak this in your shame.

In verse thirty five Pauls, ask what some man will say, How are the dead raised up? And with body do they come?

    • 36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:

    • 37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:

    • 38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

In all of these verses above. What is the seed planted in you?

    • 39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
In verse thirty nine here seems to be talking about how different everyone are in their normal day to day life, also that even the beast, bears, fishes, and birds, cats, dogs that you are loved are all different, fleshly and even if it is to kill and eat some good grub.

40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

In verse forty. We see that an remarkable claim here by Paul making the statement. There are also celestial bodies. All people know we have fleshly ways, but believers also have spiritual bod they can grow faith in, which is part of all people arriving at the Heavenly Jerusalem.

In verse forty, you can see that there is a great difference between celestials bodies, and bodies terrestrial meaning earthly bodies. Each celestial on is a glory of it is own. Also for the glory of the terrestrial is also a glory to them.

41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.

In verse forty one. There is a glory to the sun, one glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars, and that each star is different from each start by it's glory.

Wow all thing seems to have it is own difference in size shapes in appereances known as a glorious celestial spiritual body?

    • 42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
In verse forty two, we have Paul once again explaining. There is also resurrection from the death. Our body is sown into corruption, but our belief on the Lord Jesus Christ rises the holy spirit in our bodies that spiritual and incorruptible.

    • 43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
In verse forty three, this fleshly body is sown in dishonour, but is it raised in glory by the belief and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and his spirit that in-dwells us to keep going. Sown in weakness, but raised with power.

    • 44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
In verse forty four, it is stated, We are sown with a natural body, but we as believers are raised also a spiritual body that is awaken when we realize our need for God in our life, our natural body becomes more aware of the spiritual body.

    • 45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

    • 46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

    • 47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.
For as it is written verse fourty five says. The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last adam was a quicking spirit ; talking about Jesus Christ bring spirit, everlasting water and life to others.

In verse forty six. How beit that was no first which was spiritual, but that which is natural, and afterward that which was spiritual ? (really good question)

In verse forty seven; The first man is of earth, and the second man is the Lord from Heaven.

    • 48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

    • 49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
So as earthly things are, so are things in heavenly are such that they are heavenly.

We are born in the image of earth, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
    • 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
Paul says now brother. Flesh and bloody cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.

I accept that completely. So many people deny it.

    1 Corinthians 15:9
For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

    Ephesians 3:8
To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,

    1 Timothy 1:15
The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.

Here are the very last verses:

    • 49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

    • 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
In verse forty nine, explains further by Paul which bore truth, they were born the image of of the earthly. Saying we shall bear the image of the heavenly in giving love by the spirit by uplifting towards giving hope. Allowing someone to help by lifting their burden gets lighter give each person more light and light and love to people.

In verse fifty. Now this I say, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kindgdom of God, neither doth corruption, inheirt incorruption.

    • 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

    • 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

    • 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
In verses fifty one to fifty three are explaining the changing of a person who comes to the knowledge of the truth and are changed and worship God in spirit and in truth by their faith in the life, death, burial, resurrection, and how we are able to build up and be raised up with what spiritual body we decide to build up now in this life.

    • 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
In verse fifty five, Talks about how the natural body will end up leaving this world into to put on immortality, which is the spiritual boy, and as the Lord Jesus Christ conquered over death.

    • 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

    • 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

In verses fifty five and fifty six, explains how does the sting of death have any effect on one whom has over come the sting of death by being resurrected again. We too shall one day receive a new body when we pass on this life.

    • 57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

    • 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
In verse fifty seven, Thanks be to God, which gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ, brother stand fast in the work of the Gospel of the Lord, so your labour is not in vain. Experience the change of the spiritual body that God give us while we are here that are opened when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.
