1, 2, 3 > Translation Please!!

here is a simple but can actually be a very thought - filled and educational idea.

being that we all post here in English, mostly anyways, so far as I have seen, lets see how many people know a foreign language.

start with a word in English and the next three posts each give the same word translated in another language, first stating the word in English, then the word in the next language, and finally the language of the translation.

the third and final poster can then give the next word to be translated.

ie
first poster: Hello

second poster: hello, OO-Si-Yo, Cherokee

third poster: Hello, Guten Tag, German

fourth poster: hello, Aloha, Hawian
_____________new word: Boy

ok so how many more ways can we say Hello? I know that there are more than 3 translations we can give in this group so lets start with HELLO again......

we were translating Hello and trying to find 3 ways to say it, first in English, Hello,

I will add Wie Gehts - German.

being the third poster I then give the next word, so most apropriately how about good-bye

English = Good-Bye
