  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The tree of life growing within

Grace is the promised seed that Christ has accomplished for us. Thank you Jesus! I can see the tree of life as planted in seed form in the new living heart. Born of the incorruptible seed that the Word/Christ Jesus has planted in fertile soil, rooted in Him. Placed in the loving care of the...

The Cross- The tree of the Knowledge of GOOD and EVIL

Was the Cross actually made of the tree from the Garden in Eden? 8 And the L-RD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. 9 And out of the ground made the L-RD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life...

Eating from a tree in the midst...

There are two trees in our midst (just as the kingdom is within) and what we think may not be the truth as it relates to where we are perceiving/eating from... Hypothesis on the Identity of the Tree of Life

Was the Garden of Eden a physical place or symbolic of God's divine existence? We should never add to nor take away from Holy Scripture, but it's acceptable to seek the mystery of God of which Paul spoke several times. That mystery is summarily the place of Christ in the history of the Hebrew...

    Sharing God's love

The title is "The sons of God who enter eternal life." This is an unheard of message that I've never heard from any other pastors in all my life. Does anyone else think so too? It's a dubbed version, so it does take away a bit of the emotion and nuance from the original language, but other than...

    A tree of life!

“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a desire fulfilled is a TREE OF LIFE!” (Proverbs 13:12) May the promises He has put in your heart — things you have been praying for and longing for — spring forth like a glorious tree, from the earth of your heart — and be fulfilled in this season, by...
