    Why God does not cure suffering of the sick in the present age

    I can't help get an answer to this question. Everybody has or knows a somebody that they have lost to disease or accident. Even after great remissions. I don't see the purpose of such suffering. In fact I think it rather cruel. Why does not the Lord intervene? Why don't we have a cure for ALS...
