I live in a dorm and I have this crockpot, but I don't know how to use it. I love curry with rice, but I just don't know if it's possible to cook rice with a crockpot, or how long it takes. Any suggestions?

I'm thinking about joining the Army National Guard. Does anyone know how I can sign up or get some application, I'm not sure how the system works. I'm also thinking about the pros and cons of joining, for me it's an option to pay for college, I hope that's not too selfish or something.
