I recently stumbled across this new book series by Rachel Aaron, and am really enjoying it. It's a lighter fantasy read that has become a lot more involved and developed as the story has gone on. Honestly, it reminds me a lot about a fantasy version of pokemon ... maybe that's why I like it...

I've only read a couple of his books. I'm more the take it or leave it. I think he did a great thing for the genre back in the day, but he's very sexist, and a bit old fashioned ... which I guess reflects the time of his writing. I do love the idea of There's no such thing as a free lunch.

Made this post in 08, surprised to see this in my feed! I think the highlight of my trip in '08 was seeing Red. They were amazing in concert. When I saw them they just had one cd out, and they played every song on it.

Wow, this thread is old. Forgot it was around. Bill, I am a five year Osteosarcoma survivor. Osteosarcoma is the most common of the sarcoma cancer, which are definitely rare. If you need to talk about cancer my pm box is open. Cancer really does suck.

Ah, I really did enjoy kick-ass. You should check out "Super". I'd call it an independent, grittier version of kick-ass. It's definitely not for kids. And it stars Rainn Wilson who plays Dwight in the office!
