I for one own an Ultra 4k Blu-ray for my 4k Tv. I like the fact I do not need internet or wifi to watch them. This form of entertaining comes in handy.

I find if it is important, I will hear about it anyway from close people or friends. I feel my time is better served by becoming the best version of myself so I can make an impact in the things I can change not the things I can not.

I am disabled with schizophrenia myself as well and can't work. In my humble opinion it is okay to not work but keep yourself busy with worthwhile things that help you grow in your life.

Reading a lot of history books to counteract watching the current news.

I read ebooks because it seems easier to read than a big history book in my hands.

I gave up video games many years ago. I just don't seem like it is a good use of my time.

The internet at the house is not very reliable so having a collection of offline media is a must for myself. Due to my life situation, I can't afford faster or better internet.

I agree the internet is changing and the older middle aged people are not it's main target anymore. The younger generation who have grown up with the internet now are the main target.
