    The ‘Right’ to Health Care

I'd argue that realistically you don't have those as rights either. You certainly can't guarantee that we will always have them at the very least.

    The ‘Right’ to Health Care

There's no such thing as rights, it's basically an illusion created by society or purported by governments. That said, some of these illusions are quite good, like healthcare, free speech, equality, etc. Money and property is also part of the illusion, you own nothing, you're not entitled to...

Is there a difference between wealthy people? How they are judged?

Entertainers work just as hard for their wealth as anyone else, and their work does create a lot of jobs. The perception is different due to public image, but there are plenty of CEOs who are cultural heroes and plenty of villified actors. Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, Bill Gates, etc, Jim Carrey...

The Catholic Pope getting too involved in American politics.

I find it more odd that you think one comment he's made somehow means he hasn't also made comments about those other things, which of course he has.

    Pray for Gods kingdom

I see, you were being ironic.

The Catholic Pope getting too involved in American politics.

The nickname of a bomb has nothing to do with American politics and the Pope is allowed to criticize it as much as he wants.

    Nationalism vs. Globalism

I don't have a problem with a President who wants to focus on the nation, but he's said a lot of stuff that white nationalists identify with. Shouldn't that be a warning flag? I'm a "globalist" though because there's only one Kingdom, everything else is just shadows. Personally, I find the...

    Yoga, Qi Gong, Martial Arts?

As physical exercises they're fine, as mental exercises they're fine, as spiritual exercises just proceed with caution, keep your eyes open and maintain a willingness to keep asking questions.

    Look what border patrol caught

Fair enough, I may have done that. From what you said earlier though, especially the bit about not believing in a brotherhood of man and attaching limited significance to being made in God's image it seemed to me like that's what you were saying. I don't really know what else you could have...

    Look what border patrol caught

I'm fine with the government performing punishment on criminals, that's part of its prerogative. What I worry about is that many Christians seem to think that's good enough and it serves God's will. I think instead God's will would be to minister to criminals in the hopes of helping them...

So...you reject the idea of the Body of Christ and in the death of Christ for the (possible) redemption of all mankind?

    Look what border patrol caught

Yeah, you know, just the prostitutes, adulterers, corrupt tax collectors, violent political rebels, religious zealots, etc. Oh, and he promised a thief on the cross that he'd let him enter heaven. Put yourself in the context of back then, Jesus was heading out and preaching forgiveness and...

    Look what border patrol caught

I actually don't see how Christianity is compatible with the idea of national borders so I don't find statistics about the number of illegal immigrants in the country particularly compelling. As to how the church treats criminals, well, Jesus spent most of his time hanging out with them. The...

The state will do what it does, personally I think the church should be more interested in reconciliation than punishment.

    Silence (movie)

My house mate surprised me with that last night. It's well done.

Sounds like worship of the secular state to me. The government does it so it's okay to kill and mutilate, and to cheer it on.

I'd like to think we've moved past summary execution. At the very least it removes the chance for repentance, unless you believe in the possibility of repentance in the afterlife. I also don't find any basis in Christ's teachings that execution or maiming is an appropriate response to sin.

Yeah, I'm sure promoting a mutilation policy will go really far in spreading the Word.
