Very busy, but I'd rather not be so busy

Thank you for your message, Terri. Sorry I didn't reply. I do get a lot of help, mostly from men, form the church. One lady gave me contact details for a couple of people she knew who could help with cleaning and/ironing, but I only had time to ring one of them and didn't follow that up. I have...

The people in my church are not singing!!!

I'm sorry to hear the people in your church won't sing. You can't cajole them to sing. Most of the people in our church sing. Just a few don't and i imagine them in heaven feeling left out while everyone else is singing praises to God. Gillian

    Just so you'll know...

I hear you! Shopping online can be very frustrating, especially if you're depending on online services to access the things you need. or when what comes is not what you had in mind. It reminds me of the days of catalogue shopping. in pre-internet days. My gripe of the day concerns a referral...

    The Coffee Shop

I've just finished my 'Elevenses' which was more like 'Twelveses' as it is now 12.46. That's because I got up late - I'm rather reluctant to leave my bed these mornings. My 'Elevenses' today consisted of coffee with a plum and a slice of bread with margarine spread on it. Health issues mean I...

Very busy, but I'd rather not be so busy

I'm very busy these days, although some days I get more done than on other days. I still have some things to do as a result of my husband's passing, matters to deal with as a result of taking over the roles that he was responsible for, arrangements to make for repairs needing done to the house...

    Prayer requests (6)

Praise God He led you to a place where you have found blessing and so close at hand too. I'm ok, thanks. Still very busy - still dealing with a lot of stuff related to David's affairs and matters he would have dealt with. Two big items I got rid of were our second car and our motorhome. It was...

    Family Update

For those who don't know me, I have three adult children on the autistic spectrum. The two older of these live with me here and the youngest is in supported living accommodation on the other side of town - about a ten minute drive from here. He left his job after he moved to his new...

    The Hangout Coffee Shop

I alternate between coffee with hot water and cold milk and sugar added, and coffee with the cup/mug filled with milk and a little sugar, then heated in the microwave for 2 minutes. It gives a nice marbled effect. I thought it up when I couldn't find the cappuccino brand I prefer. Gillian
