    Thanksgiving trivia

Obviously you can look this up on 100 diff places on the net, but a few I found of interest (and some disagree so some of these not 100% certain): - It's debatable if they had turkey at the first one. They definitely did have seafood, however. - No stuffing or pumpkin or pecan pie either. :(...

Retired Navy commander tells NFL (Saints) to stuff their "honor"

Finally someone steps up, love it. Sad how most who feel similarly don't have the spine to do this publicly. I want to buy this guy a steak dinner: Saints defiant after military vet declines honor

University of Tampa fires professor who blamed Harvey on GOP vote

Finally, a school w/the spine to stand up to one of these militant idiot profs (though "only" an assistant prof...I have to wonder if he was considered one of their top-notch profs or a Dean, etc if the action would have been the same)...

The militant race card nazis strike again -another monument destroyed

Protesters tear down Confederate statue in Durham, North Carolina Apparently it's OK (in fact wonderful!) to break the law and destroy property if it offends you. Oh yay. Destroy property? Block traffic? No big, no arrests. Hurray for self-righteousness! But as glaringly asinine as these...

Although I could never be a vegetarian...

I'm leaning more that way, for health reasons. And the great part is I don't really notice a diff, as they've gotten pretty good at making stuff that looks, smells and even tastes meaty. :) Like these hot dogs and sausages I found made out of soy which I expected to be horrible....they taste...

If you could be king "for a day"......laws you'd enact

Keeping in mind this is needn't be realistic, but pls let's not cross into silly (like "a law saying I don't have to pay taxes")....and/or merely because it aligns with your religious/political beliefs (like make Islam faith illegal etc)...lastly I'd like to ask to refrain from the more hotly...

Two girls commit suicide after watching Netflix's "13 Reasons Why"

Families blame "13 Reasons Why" for girls' suicides Stuff like this drives me crazy. No, of course it's not ALL the show's fault that this happened, to say the least. But things like this can be and often are a contributing factor and I'm sick to death of how Hollywood and their assorted...
