Thank you very much for that link :). Interesting. I haven't looked in to this sort of thing very much. I do find end time stuff quite confusing...there are so many different interpretations etc. And they all, so far as I can see, give fairly good reasons for their ideas. I sometimes think...

Hi. I've not been on CF for very much for a long time, so am not sure the best place to post my question. If this is not the best place, perhaps someone could move it to elsewhere. Anyway, what I was wondering is that I have read over the years some kind of prophecies which say that this...

Who are the Nephilim (Genesis 6) ?

I'm not saying that the H oly Spirit copulated with Mary, but didn't he make her pregnant with Jesus? So possibly spirit beings could somehow do the same?

How is baptism performed correctly, and can it be performed incorrectly?

But what if you were on a desert island or something? And there is a chap who becomes a believer, and you, a woman, wants to baptize him? Surely there must be exceptions to the 'general rule'

Strange occurrences following my dad's death

Thank you to those who answered my original post, but I have only just read...was very busy (still am) helping my brother sort out my dad's house and effects...took forever. But anyhow, apparently the person who bought my dad's house told my brother that it had a nice atmosphere in it...which...

Strange occurrences following my dad's death

That's is an interesting take on it. Funnily enough, I kind of thought that my dad wouldn't have wanted to leave the house, especially when he was still trying to do so much work on it and he'd lived there for around 63 years. My daughter in law thinks, but is not certain, that she saw this...

Strange occurrences following my dad's death

Ah, right. The Holocaust would definitely have an awful effect on the idea of cremation, to put it mildly. But as to 'dust to dust', don't ashes become dust? I'll have to do a bit of research on the bits in the Bible which might proscribe cremation.

Strange occurrences following my dad's death

Sorry, I've just seen under your picture 'Judaism'. They've changed the format of everything abit since I was last on CF so I've got to find my way around again!

Strange occurrences following my dad's death

Yes...I've heard that many people thing cremation is not a good iea. And my father was cremated. Are you a Jew, out of interest (or Messianic Jew?) I looked at your profile to see what it said. If so, do Jews discourage cremation? And if so, why? I could actually start another thread...

Strange occurrences following my dad's death

Thank you for your reply. Well, my daughter in law didn't try to speak to it and ishe only saw it for a moment. Anyway, I rang her up again to ask a couple more questions. I had thought it possible it could have been an angel, but I'm sure it wasn't. Anyhow, I asked her how big it was and she...

Strange occurrences following my dad's death

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this..if not, please move it. Anyway, my father had been ill with cancer for a few months and my brother and I were taking it in turns to care for him at his house (apart from when he fell, broke his hip and was hospitalised for a while until he...

    Blueprint for the end

Yes, this seems a more likely scenario. Imo I think the Eu may get smaller..perhaps more countries will leave it. I can't be convinced that the EU would be the 10 nation ruler.

The woman who lived for 60 years on the Eucharist alone

I have read a couple of things...I wonder what causes it? I mean obviously with the woman livng on the Eucharist, you could say she is getting nouishment from the Bread of Life. However, the other example I read of was someone who I don't think was a Christian and wasn't eating the host. But...

The woman who lived for 60 years on the Eucharist alone

But would scientists or doctors believe that is possible? I have heard of other people who apparently don't eat, but survive. And doctors are convinced that they must secretly be fed. Not that I don't believe these things could happen, but has there been any proper scientific observation or...

    Imperial Measurements in the U.K.

Yes, this is how I get the 'feel' for weights and measurements...I know roughly how long it takes me to walk, say two miles or how many apples make roughly a pound. We lived in Belgium and Luxembourgfor seven years, yet I could never get the 'feel' for metric measurements. I always have to...
