P.S. Make sure you increase your intake of B complex and Vitamin C. These help handle the stress your body is going through. Salads and fruits have these natural vitamins in them.

Some people say that eating brown rice cakes (puffed rice cakes) helps as these are also loaded with B complex.

I definitely second chanter's vitamin recommendation!! Those are in addition to a multivitamin, if you are taking one. I recommend Solaray, Solgar, or one of those brands you can find at a health food store.

You can do it - i gave up the evil weed about 3 or 4 years ago - it wasn't conducive to being asthmatic ( i developed it late on).!

I know that this is really tough for you, but two days without a cigarrette is an absolutely wonderful achievement - and wouldn't it be a shame for you to crumble now you've come so far ?

If you don't continue with this now and you decide to quit at some future point in your life, you will only have to go through this horrible 48 hours all over again. So hang on in there. You only have to do this thing once. Praise God.

I had (guess I still have) an addiction to chewing tobacco (I know, yuck!). The way I gave it up was to offer it up. Every time I feel the urge to have some, I ask myself, "Who do you love more, God or chewing tobacco?" Then it is easy. Better yet, it becomes a sacrifice!
