  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I believe that ALL who ever lived will be in God’s Kingdom

When a person departs this earth they stay behind, until the finale, their end...
Can you even answer just one question without side tracking into a different direction?

Why is God so long suffering?

Why is God so long suffering?
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise,
as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward,
not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

This speaks only of opportunity, certainly not assurance.
Those who have gone to the grave without repentance find no solace in long suffering.

Yes, this was the verse and the answer that I wanted from that poster. Because the obviousness of the answer would be that
God is long suffering towards us, not willing that any of us should perish. And that all of us should come to repentance. That's what he wants and that's why he's so long suffering.

It would have nothing to do with the "devils/demons they go on and on about. They've already been judged. The Great White Throne has nothing to do with them.

You haven't even set foot in scriptural reality i.e. both sides of the coin of "you." Good and EVIL.

God is longsuffering. I'm not.

Let me know when you grow up and can converse about the internal reality of the devil and his messengers IN mankind, as Jesus shows us openly

Those who can't see it remain slaves to it

Is God long suffering, patient with us? Or did He set in motion cycles that could go on endlessly as each generation thinks the end is close (and for each individual... it is). Cycling until a time that He already told us would occur where the Kingdom, not the salvation gospel as we know it, is preached through the world. The world needs to make it about Him, not what is in it for ourselves.

This final Word He has not left in the hands of man,
who has been notoriously unreliable with the Word of Truth found in the Gospel.
We are informed of what will be preached, and not by man.
Revelation 14:
6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven,
having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth,
and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him;
for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven,
and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

The fear of God is a significant element missing from modern teaching.
Granted, that angel message could conceivably be placed on the lips
of those found faithful. Time may soon tell.

You haven't even set foot in scriptural reality
Show me once where I haven't? I don't believe you can. I've always stated that one is not perfect in the flesh but you are the one that continues to refute scripture that if we "walk" in the Spirit, we don't have to give into the flesh. That is scriptural. If we submit ourselves to God, resist the devil he will flee. That is also scriptural.
You continually cherry pick scriptures with no context and omit other verses that show your doctrine to be one sided. And yet you accuse others of doing just that.

God is longsuffering. I'm not.
Well, thank goodness, he's the one that matters.

and can converse
I'm a scripture person first and foremost. And as usual you refuse to answer to just that -scripture. Your beliefs are not based on the bible as a whole. Anyone can pick out a few verses here and there and produce a doctrine. But that is not sound reasoning to do so. Context matters.

True enough. The fear of God is respect of His will. Our will is contrary to the Kingdom. No wonder His gospel was abandoned for another.
Yes, as shown after God Himself wrote and spoke the Ten Commandments and this was said:

Exo 20:20 And Moses said to the people, “Do not fear; for God has come to test you, and that His fear may be before you, so that you may not sin.

God does not want us to sin against Him, sin is breaking the law of God and God defined it Himself, both written and spoken and nothing can be added to it or subtracted from it. Exo20:1-17 1John3:4 James 2:11 Rom7:7 its in His heavenly Temple Rev11:19 where His word is settled Psa 119:89

Ecc 3:14 I know that whatever God does,
It shall be forever.
Nothing can be added to it,
And nothing taken from it.

God does it, that men should fear before Him.

Exo 31:18 And when He had made an end of speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God.
Exo32:16 Now the tablets were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God engraved on the tablets.

Why we are told this is mans all...

Ecc 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:

Fear God and keep His commandments,
For this is man’s all.

14 For God will bring every work into judgment,
Including every secret thing,
Whether good or evil.

Sadly, the fear of God for many is through mans traditions, over what God said, His commandments Exo20:6 Deut4:13 , its something Jesus condemned Mat 15:3-14 Mark7:7-13

Isa 29: 13 Therefore the Lord said:

“Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths
And honor Me with their lips,
But have removed their hearts far from Me,
And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men
,

Why in the everlasting gospel that is to go out to the entire world, because all nations drank the false doctrine Dan7:25, is to get back to fearing God, worshipping our Creator Exo20:11 Rev14:7 give Him glory and keep His commandments- God's version that man was never supposed to take from or add to.

Rev 14:6 Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people— 7 saying with a loud voice,Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”

8 And another angel followed, saying, “Babylon[f] is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.”

9 Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

I believe these scriptures are clear about that. Am I misunderstanding?

1 John 4:14 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.

1 Timothy 4:10 For to this end we toil and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe.

Lamentations 3:31 For the Lord will not cast off forever

Romans 5:18 Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men.

1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.

Romans 11:32 For God has consigned all to disobedience, that he may have mercy on all.

John 12:32 And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw ALL people to myself.”

Revelation 21:5 And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

2 Corinthians 5:19 that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.

John 6:51
I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”

2 Corinthians 5:14-15 For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; 15 and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.

Colossians 1:20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.

John 3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

Luke 3:6 and all flesh shall see the salvation of God

Philippians 2:10-11 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Romans 10:9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

2 Samuel 14:14 We must all die; we are like water spilled on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again. But God will not take away life, and he devises means so that the banished one will not remain an outcast.

Ephesians 1:10 As a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in Him, things in heaven and things on earth.

John 1:29 The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!"

1 Corinthians 15:22-28
22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ. 24 Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power. 25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death. 27 For “God[c] has put all things in subjection under his feet.” But when it says, “all things are put in subjection,” it is plain that he is excepted who put all things in subjection under him. 28 When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to him who put all things in subjection under him, that God may be all in all.

"I believe that ALL who ever lived will be in God’s Kingdom"

In the eyes of God, and in accordance with His Word, has anyone ever lived, unless they had been born again?
1 John 5:
11
And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

What about the scriptures that tells us all are not saved..... All would be saved if they put the ways of the Lord first in their life.

What Does the Bible Say About Christians Who Continue To Sin? What Does the Bible Say About Christians Who Continue To Sin?

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire

You left this off when quoting Exodus 31
Exodus 31:16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

Yes and look to where God Himself related His sign- to Creation before Israel, before Moses, just God and man. The only God man was ever called to worship, the God who has the power to make Exo20:11 Rev14:7. Why Jesus said the Sabbath was made for man Mark2:27 not Jew, He is LORD of the Sabbath day and I certainly want Him Lording over me, but He gives us free will to choose who we will serve, just as He did in Scripture and we will all have to live with those decisions Rom6:16KJV Rev22:11. He said the Sabbath is for everyone who wants to join themselves to the LORD, love His name and serve Him Isa 56:6 why He blesses the man, who keeps the Sabbath Isa 56:2 and in the same breath, says not keeping it is doing evil.

Do not deceive ourselves into thinking doing what God deems as righteousness and justice is only for Jews Isa56:1-2 and doing what He deems as evil applies only to Jews, doing justice and righteousness is the foundation of God's throne Psa89:14. Lets not deceive ourselves into thinking we can define what is righteousness and not God. Psa 119:172 Isa 56:1-2 while His is everlasting Psa 119:142, we can define what is sin and not God. Exo20:20 Exo20:1-17 that Jesus applies to everyone Mat5:19-30 as did James 2:10-11 and did the NT writers 1John3:4 Rom7:7 because they were never in rebellion to God's Authority.

If one feels there is a better Testimony than God's Exo31:18 by all mean go live by that Isa8:20, but that's not an argument with me, Jesus said mankind should live by every Word of God, not man. Mat4:4

There has never been two gospels one for Gentiles one for Jews, all people are saved from sin Mat1:21 not in sin Heb10:26-30 God defines sin Exo20:20 Exo20:1-17 1John3:4 James 2:11 Rom7:7 Mat5:19-30 not us, when we remove what is under God's mercy seat Exo25:21 which is a copy of what is in Heaven Heb9:23-24 Heb8:5 Rev11:19 it doesn't remove that law, God's Ten Commandments that God Himself wrote and spoke, cannot be edited Ecc3:14 Mat5:18-19 it just removes what His blood covers, which is not what we want Pro28:13 Exo20:6 Heb10:26-30

There has never been two gospels one for Gentiles one for Jews,
Just as in the beginning what God made and decreed was for all mankind and creation, not just later for Israelites. The sabbath was before A&E, the first fall. Before Noah, the second fall. Before Babel, the third fall. Before the crucifixion, the fourth fall, and before the end of days, the final fall.

Yes, what God does is forever.... we cannot add or take from it. Ecc3:14 Our only response should be to fear Him and obey Exo20:20 Ecc12:13-14 Rev14:6-12 and trust what He made for us Mark2:27 is only to be a blessing as He said Isa56:2 No one can take God's blessings away Num23:20 they can sadly only forfeit their own. I might add that focusing on one aspect of His will thus creating thousands of denominations following thousands of aspects serves Him no purpose either. As long as we squabble, especially over religion, we ignore what He proposes for creation… no adversity. Christianity fails miserably in that respect. It doesn’t even teach the gospel Jesus said would end it, His only Gospel. So this squabbling over issues is meaningless and off track. We should be united over His gospel, not following rabbit trails of our own making to set us apart.

So we have the majority of people not focused on one aspect of God's will, yet you're suggesting there should be no voice speaking of what God said Remember.

There was never condemnation for people who focused on any aspect of God's will, just those who did not as we see an entire generation losing their inheritance of the Promise Land full of milk and honey over the same reason, you seem to want this message silenced.

Eze 20:15 So I also raised My hand in an oath to them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, ‘flowing with milk and honey,’ the glory of all lands 16 because they despised My judgments and did not walk in My statutes, but profaned My Sabbaths; for their heart went after their idols.

There is a reason in the NT we are told not to follow in this same example of disobedience Heb4:11

We can always choose not to listen and see if it ends up in a different result.

Isa 30:10 Who say to the seers, “Do not see,” And to the prophets, “Do not prophesy to us right things; Speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceits.
We should be united over His gospel, not following rabbit trails of our own making to set us apart.
So the gospel according to you instead? Not our salvation from sin Mat1:21. And sin is according to you and not God? Following rabbit trails of obedience to God, the way God said. Please show me one place where I said anything about my own making please. If you're going to make an insinuation/accusations , please actually follow it up with some proof. If I have done what you claim, I will own it, but if not, its just idle words. It would be nice to see from posts more of God's words, and less of our own.

In case people haven’t noticed, seeking the Kingdom requires progression. What was required of A&E led to progression yet mankind regressed. What was required of Noah led to progression yet mankind regressed. What was required at Babel led to progression yet mankind regressed. What was required of Abram led to progression yet people regressed. What was required after Moses led to progression yet people regressed. What was required after Jesus and His Gospel of the Kingdom which He said was the only reason He was sent, led to progression but here to people quickly regressed back into issues that they deemed more worthy. Jesus said progression would only come to the end if the Kingdom alone was taught throughout the world. Yet still the people regress.

Regress to do what Jesus said mankind should live by Mat4:4 and progress to what everyone else is doing that Jesus condemned Isa29:13 Mat15:3-14 Mark7:7-13. You keep saying to do God's will, but when shown God's will that He both wrote and spoke Exo31:18 Psa 40:8 you argue against it for some reason. I think we should focus on more of what Scripture and God actually says, less on our own reasoning. But we have free will.

I will agree to disagree.

Jesus summed up the entire OT in 2 commandments. He said God would do what is required of Him and told us what simply was required of us. Adversity was not on the agenda over previous commandments as His two covered them all.
