The islam bit doesn't bother me.
I think it's because i think liberal values in the uk run deep.
I dont think islam is strong enough to compete
Both are an issue, but political policy is something that ebbs and flows left and right, the same cannot be said for Islam. Once it's present, that's it.
The biggest issue we face with liberals is them not realising they're the useful idiots for Islam. Eventually their support will have consequences that hit close enough to home to realise that for all the bluster from the left about Republicans in the US and right-wing politics here is that they're practically saintly compared to your average Muslim-majority country and their treatment of women, LGBT and other 'at risk' groups.
Maybe the terrorist attack last night in Germany will open a few eyes to the reality of encouraging foxes into the hen house, then again it hasn't in the multiple others like it in recent years so who knows.
