CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Oh no, I believe it, and I'm sure you have.
But I just want to say that where a lot of us is right now looking is a smokescreen, it's too obvious, and it's where Satan wants you to focus your attention, and/or look, etc, but where he doesn't want you to look is within your own religion, or your own religious houses, cause that's not so obvious, etc.
Oh, and I don't think either you or AV are bad people, and I definitely don't think your antichrist, just so you both know that, ok. We're just having a difference of opinion right now, k. I would gladly associate with either one of you out in public, ok.

Does this include in people's hearts? Or is it just only lip service that matters? Because if it's just only the latter that matters, then I think you can vulnerable to deception, etc. I can almost 100% guarantee you that true antichrists are not all going to be denying the Father and Son with their lips, etc. Nor anyone denying the Father and the Son be doing so in their hearts, etc. And can you know the difference, etc? If so, then you might be God then, etc.

I don't know to what extent anyone else is staring all day at what they feel is a smokescreen, but my personal, private focus is on Jesus.
However, no one should expect that my focus on Jesus is going to equate to, or require, me getting on a public forum and talking only about Jesus and His love for us repetitively and without contradistinction ad nauseam, and without further philosophical context or contrast from anything and everything else that exists.
You might also keep in mind that both Peter and Paul were commissioned as apostles by Jesus Himself, and both Peter and Paul told off more than merely the religious hypocrites whom we all feel we can so easily recognize in our political world today.
As for associating with you in public, I'd have little problem having lunch with either you or AV, even if I may disagree with each of you in different ways on a few finer points of the Bible. I'd also have little problem having a beer and onion rings and toasting to the general welfare of humanity with either @Bradskii or @Ophiolite, pending whatever social resignations they may feel they'd put forth on my desk at this moment.

And that's good, but if you're going to go looking for true antichrists, then I probably don't have to tell you that a lot of them clothe themselves with righteous apparel, can seem like agents or ministers of light, and run in religious circles, etc.
It's not the only thing I talk about either, etc. I sometimes try to convince others of my other theological views sometimes, etc.
Yes, there were some others, etc. And Jesus talked about Herod a time or two, as an example, etc.
And the really good religious hypocrites are sometimes very, very hard to recognize, etc. Some (many) have quite a following already, etc. We need to be careful that we're not deceived, etc. Not all of them are bad or false or anti, but some of them are.
I'd have no problems with that either with almost any of the others on here, etc.

No, I think they're fairly easy to recognize. They're the one's who, despite their fiery, over confident language, do nothing but continue on providing fiery language as a form of power and control and, then, get incensed because folks don't just roll over for them or jump through their hoops with the wave of a hand. Of course, the same could be said of Materialist Magicians. They do a lot of hand waving too. Unfortunately for them the only rolling I do doesn't fit through their hoops.

Ya, I guess my post wasn't written very well.
I'll try it this way...Who did Jesus pray to? That's where I go to as my spiritual reality in life. So rather than "working" for some future eternal life as CIA Agent is doing, for myself I think it's important that I work towards having that whom Jesus prayed to as my reality. And to have that reality of God right here an now, where He is needed the most.
I hope that cleared up any confusing I caused.

But you've got the wrong Member of the Godhead.
It's the SECOND PERSON of the Godhead (Jesus) that you need to pray to for salvation.

If for a believer salvation is what it's all about, and it's found in the second person, go for it. I have no problem with that.
But I'm heading in a different direction. So for myself it's not about "getting" salvation.
Believe it or not, I actually believe there's a higher calling, right here and right now, while we live and breath.
