He made it somewhat our business when He posted it here.
If you think he posted something that is TMI, then just ignore it.
I don't see anywhere that Jesus tells us to force our beliefs upon other people's children, or grandchildren in this case, etc.
Fair enough.
You want us to ignore it too?
You shouldn't expect an atheistic family to be teaching each other the gospel within their own private family structures/conversations/businesses, etc. That's why I ignored it. It's picking nits in this case.
I'm not setting the Great Commission aside on this one, just to placate his potential deadly advice.
I don't see anywhere that Jesus tells us to force our beliefs upon other people's children, or grandchildren in this case, etc.
As far as I know, he only talks about your own children, or at most, other people's children out in public, or in the public square, and not within their own private family structures uninvited, etc.
I'm supposed to.
Pr 22:6 ¶ Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
2Ti 3:14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
And I'm not saying you shouldn't with your own family/children.
It's a fuss.
It's none of our business what happens or goes on within anothers own private family structures, especially when their beliefs differ greatly from ours, etc.
It's not in this case.
And maybe, just maybe, they want to see their kids in Heaven with them.
Ya think?
You don't think the parents are going to heaven though?
Yup -- let the world have 'em -- right?
Look, this is about different styles/strategies. I prefer to tell/teach my children/other people in a way that instills trust, so that they'll still feel comfortable coming to me later on with questions when they need to, or as they come up, and I can 100% guarantee you, they're going to come up, etc. So, in the meantime I work on how to be best prepared to answer those questions when they do come up, etc.
If a child starts to have honest sincere questions/doubts about religion/God, and if all their parents have been doing is trying to ram their beliefs down their throats, and the children don't feel comfortable coming to them with the kinds of questions they are now beginning to have, or are starting to be asking, and also already knows that their parents are going to be ill equipped to handle them anyway, then that's when they're left to the world to answer those kinds of questions, etc, and I want them to come to me when they're having those kinds of questions, etc.
Then you'll wonder what happened when they end up lying on the floor of a school library after having shot themselves.
Well, this comment is unnecessary, etc.
When a person is left to the lions, I pray the Lion of the Tribe of Judah gets the final consideration.
I hope so too, but I also hope they'll feel comfortable enough with me to come to me also, and that I will by that time have made myself adequately prepared/equipped to handle their kinds of questions by that point, etc.
Never give up hope, etc.
God Bless.
