1. Pray for Leah Sharibu aged 23 abducted as a schoolgirl in 2018. She is the only abductee they haven't released, she refuses to renounce her Christian faith.
The radicals behind her abduction have claimed they will keep her as a 'slave for life'.
It is understood by intelligence forces she has endured several forced marriages and several childbirths.
2. Pray for pastor John Cao, finally released from jail in China and back in the USA. He now however has prostate cancer, please pray for healing.
3. Pray for the families of three baptist pastors killed (and for several others injured) in India, they were reurning from a conference.
4. Pray for Christians in Eritrea kept in subhuman conditions with no medical facilities in sweltering heat.
We learn of one, Kidan, who after several years in jail in those conditions, returned only to find her husband had been deported to Ethiopia and her 4 year old son she had left was now 12.
I cannot think of how that must have been. By God's grace they are now back together in Ethiopia.
5. We learn of how much it means to persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ to be remembered by us.
Cards written to general persecuted brothers and sisters in Nigeria were met with tears, praising and rejoicing.
Cards written to prisoners are read by the guards- they are so powerful some guards have even become convinced reading them!
