CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

From the year 1948 and the Nakab, Israel's forced removal of 750,000 Palestinians from their homes and villages, the Palestinians have been abused, oppressed and killed. At the present time, scores of Palestinian villages in the West Bank have been destroyed by Jewish settlers under the watchful and approving eye of the IDF. The present situation is one of apartheid in which the Palestinians are treated worse than animals, all the while Israel continues with immunity. The present estimate of lives lost in Gaza is 62,000 with 20,000 being children. Israelis are not just trying to defeat Hamas but wipe out the Gazan population, in short, genocide.
All the while 'Christian Zionists', particularly in the US, are supporting Israel unconditionally, they have chosen to turn a blind eye to what in fact is really going on. It is also important to note that both Biden and Trump have been complicit to the genocide in Gaza. Millions of US tax dollars have been spent on the bombs that have rained down on Gaza and killed so many innocent lives.
While I don't condone the actions of Hamas, I can understand why they and other Palestinians are fighting back against years long oppression.
God has been watching, He will hold Israel, the US and Christian Zionists, as well as Hamas to account on that Great Day.

None of that is true. There isn't evidence of genocide and no court has found Israel guilty of it. The only thing we have is a bunch of peoples opinions without facts and a bunch of false information because people are antisemitic.

Numerous organizations like the UN and Amnesty International, the International Court of Justice and others have accused Israel of genocide in regard to the war in Gaza. You need to do a little more investigation and listen less to right wing and Israeli propaganda.

Not officially. There is no official accusation, only people who work their and their opinions. They are currently investigating, but that is all. To make statements like it's official, isn't accurate.

31st August 2025 International Association of Genocide Scholars accused Israel of genocide in Gaza.

You replied to my original post was that 'NONE of it is true'. With all due respect, with the exception of a WCJ ruling, ALL I wrote is fact and truth.
If you take the time to read the Wikipedia article which, is hard to stomach, you will find more than necessary proof that Israel has committed genocide in Gaza.
Only political and religious bias would cause one to disagree on this issue.

The article you linked to is about the Palestinian Authority fighting armed gangs in Jenin. Hamas has never controlled any part of the West Bank, including Jenin.

What you're talking about is stuff you don't understand.
"Mostly affiliated with" a group that's tied to Hezbollah.
And this is one city, Jenin, which is in the "Area A" part of the West Bank that I've already said is controlled by the Palestinians. The settlements and the settlers' abuses against Palestinians are in the part controlled by Israel.

I'm replying to the comment that said, "Hamas has never controlled any part of the West Bank, officially or unofficially." Which clearly isn't true. There are lots of groups in Gaza and the West Bank that aren't "official" but run the place against the PA and gave an article as an example proving what I'm saying. I couldn't care less about who officially is on a bunch of paperwork when clearly there are other factions and groups taking over towns and cities. So again, who controlled the west bank? Palestinians. And if I meant the PA, I would have said PA... You guys need to broaden where you're reading because you clearly don't know what you're talking about.
And the idea these "terrorists" as the Jerusalem Post puts them, controlled by Israel is insane.

It's a fact that Hamas has never controlled any part of the West Bank, officially or unofficially. The article you linked to doesn't say what you think it does.
