  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

A couple weeks later and Lang has been arrested again, this time in Texas for something he did last year.

Pardoned Jan. 6 rioter Jake Lang arrested in Frisco

Jake Lang, a far-right influencer, was booked into the Collin County jail on criminal trespass charges for allegedly breaking into David Kuykendall Stadium.

Video is circulating on social media of his arrest outside Frisco City Hall, where a "Rally Against Rednecks" rally drew a few dozen counter protesters, some with guns and white supremacist messaging.

Last April, Lang hosted a sparsely attended Protect White Americans rally outside the stadium where Metcalf was stabbed. He later posted a video on X saying he broke into the stadium.

An arrest warrant obtained Wednesday by The Dallas Morning News confirmed Lang was arrested in connection with the break-in. The document noted the stadium is surrounded by a six foot chain-linked fence topped with barbed wire, and has several signs noting it's for "FISD use only."

"Based upon Lang's statements, he clearly understands he is prohibited from being inside the gated area of the stadium," an officer wrote in the warrant.

The Florida activist returned to a Frisco City Council meeting last month to fight plans for a new mosque, Hindu temple and Jain temple. Wearing an army green vest and Confederate flag patch, he told city council members that Muslims and Hindus were teaming up to take over Texas.

"If I lived in Texas, I would burn down one of these ... mosques," Lang shouted.
Police escorted him out after his allotted public speaking time lapsed.
Sometimes I forget there is a non-saintly "Frisco"...

Does it sometimes seem like the amount of appalling characters among the J6 convicted set is just a bit above national average?

Almost 100 January 6 rioters charged with new crimes after being pardoned: report

The number of pardoned rioters charged or convicted of new crimes, according to reporter Katherine Pompilio, is at least 97 — or more than 1 in 16 of the total 1,500.

These crimes, she continued, "run the gamut from relatively low-grade offenses like property damage, possession of drug paraphernalia, and trespassing to serious felonies like grand larceny, stalking, planning to assassinate law enforcement officials and prominent politicians, and defrauding government agencies" — and some of the rioters have been sentenced to life in prison, like Andrew Paul Johnson, who was convicted of horrific crimes against children.
