  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Andrew Paul Johnson, 44, was arrested in Tennessee in August and extradited to Florida on charges of lewd/lascivious molestation, lewd/lascivious exhibition and transmission of material harmful to a minor.

The child said he confronted Johnson, who apologized and told the child not to tell anyone "since he would get in trouble," the affidavit says. Johnson mailed the child an iPhone "and told him to keep it a secret," the document alleges.

The sheriff's office said in the affidavit that Discord messages showed Johnson sneaking to the child's home to take him food and hang out with him. He also told the child that "since he was pardoned for storming the Capitol on January 6th, 2021, and he was being awarded $10,000,000 as a result of being a ‘jan 6’er’ ... that he would be putting him in his ‘will’ to take any money he had left over," according to the affidavit.

Court documents from [the Jan 6] case said Johnson, who referred to himself as "American Terrorist" and "Proud j6er," engaged in "disorderly and disruptive conduct" for more than four hours.

Don't know how many Trump pardoned who just turned around and committed more crimes, but there's a number of them.
Criminals commit crimes. Some learn from punishment, but many don't. Trump didn't help things by pardoning so many of them.

I wonder what Cabinet job is in his future.

Bureau of Prisons?

A Jan. 6 rioter pardoned by Trump was sentenced to life in prison for child sex abuse

On Thursday, the man, Andrew Paul Johnson, was sentenced to life in prison, after a Florida jury found him guilty of five criminal charges, including molestation, lewd and lascivious exhibition and transmission of material harmful to a minor.

In just the last week, two former Jan. 6 defendants were arrested in the Washington, D.C. area.

Jake Lang, who was charged with assaulting police with a baseball bat during the riot, was arrested for allegedly threatening a police officer who had also previously protected the Capitol.

"Public execution is the only solution for animals like you," Lang told the officer at a rally for the fifth anniversary of the attack,

Meanwhile, Bryan Betancur, who already has a lengthy criminal record, was also arrested this week on charges of assault and battery. At the time of the Capitol riot, Betancur was on probation and wearing a court-mandated GPS monitor for a prior burglary conviction. His latest arrest took place after videos emerged that appeared to show him touching women's hair while riding the D.C. Metro. Multiple women have accused Betancur of stalking them and making harassing comments online.

Pederast guy was mentioned in the Capitol Hill bickering about Trump's slush fund for J6 hostages. IIRC Todd Blanche was saying the story was made up. This guy isn't even unique. Other J6ers have been accused of kiddie porn and the like.

Trump told them to break the law. Trump is one of them. Trump should have been arrested. Trump = criminal.

A couple weeks later and Lang has been arrested again, this time in Texas for something he did last year.

Pardoned Jan. 6 rioter Jake Lang arrested in Frisco

Jake Lang, a far-right influencer, was booked into the Collin County jail on criminal trespass charges for allegedly breaking into David Kuykendall Stadium.

Video is circulating on social media of his arrest outside Frisco City Hall, where a "Rally Against Rednecks" rally drew a few dozen counter protesters, some with guns and white supremacist messaging.

Last April, Lang hosted a sparsely attended Protect White Americans rally outside the stadium where Metcalf was stabbed. He later posted a video on X saying he broke into the stadium.

An arrest warrant obtained Wednesday by The Dallas Morning News confirmed Lang was arrested in connection with the break-in. The document noted the stadium is surrounded by a six foot chain-linked fence topped with barbed wire, and has several signs noting it's for "FISD use only."

"Based upon Lang's statements, he clearly understands he is prohibited from being inside the gated area of the stadium," an officer wrote in the warrant.

The Florida activist returned to a Frisco City Council meeting last month to fight plans for a new mosque, Hindu temple and Jain temple. Wearing an army green vest and Confederate flag patch, he told city council members that Muslims and Hindus were teaming up to take over Texas.

"If I lived in Texas, I would burn down one of these ... mosques," Lang shouted.
Police escorted him out after his allotted public speaking time lapsed.

So it seems Trump and Paxton are both lenient on child molesters. How long will it take the Dems to run with that?

I wouldn't hold my breath.
