NASER NAVARD GOL-TAPATH
According to Article 18, Pastor Naser Navard Gol-Tapath was rearrested on February 6, 2025, and is being held without charges or a reason for his arrest. Naser immediately began a hunger strike in protest against the ‘continued persecution of Christians in Iran’, but suffered a debilitating stroke on March 17.
While he reportedly received some medical treatment, he remains behind bars and continues to suffer lack of movement on his left side. Pastor Nasser, who is 63, had previously served nearly five years in the same prison on a 10-year sentence for charges amounting to “action against national security” for leading house churches.
