  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Wow...that's a long video.....I'll watch it when I have more time. I am familiar with the Adventist teachings especially about the Biblical Sabbath. However, from my personal Biblical studies, I disagree with some of their teachings. For example, Eze 37:15 on down talks about the two houses returning to their "land". Isa 11 talks about the same more or less. These verses are never mentioned by Adventist. There version is going up in space somewhere in heaven. 1 Thess 4:16, 17 is used often by many to substantiate that we go up in the clouds to some a distant heaven. They forget that Moses was up in the clouds on Mt Sinai when he spoke with Jesus in a spiritual form. His feet were on the ground. The heavens extend from the ground up to eternity. If I recall correctly there are three heavens. I am not sure if that is Biblical. Anyway, we see in Zachariah 14: 16, 17, 18 that we will be with the King on earth. That is another example of something never mentioned by the Adventist. If you do find something about this in any of their teachings, please advise. As a matter of fact, I don't know of any so called christian churches that teach, much less, mention those verses that I have just now mentioned. There is a plethora of others that also talk about the same thing. God Bless.

Aw
Here is a good explanation...
Awful long video. I also know the whole doctrine of Ellen White, etc. I've been to their meetings a couple of times. They can't seem to explain those verses about worshipping the King on earth and all the nations that don't show on the Feast of Tabernacles get no rain, etc. Big problem.
