It's not "has eternal life promised to him"; but, "has eternal life". Whether you believe this Scripture or not, you should not be lying about what it states. If you continue deliberately to misrepresent what Scripture states like this, then you will go on "ignore".

John 5:24 “Most certainly I tell you, he who hears my word, and believes him who sent me, has eternal life, and doesn’t come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

John 6:47 Most certainly, I tell you, he who believes in me has eternal life.

11 The testimony is this, that God gave to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12 He who has the Son has the life. He who doesn’t have God’s Son doesn’t have the life.

Who has God's Son, via the the Holy Spirit (eternal life)? Only the people who obey his commandments have eternal life (the Holy Spirit) abiding in them.

What happens to the people who disobey the Holy Spirit of truth?

Romans 2:8

These fake Christians did not have eternal life, then lost it; rather, as you can see, they never knew the Lord in the first place, so never had eternal life.

God will complete a good work in us until the day of Jesus Christ if we continue to obey his commandments. He will not force us to obey him.



Scripture does not state what you believe to be true.

A person can become righteous, later choose to become wicked, and then repent and become righteous again. We alone determine our actions for as long as we live. God does not force us to do good or evil.


Ezekiel 33:10-17
Now you, mortal, say to the house of Israel, Thus you have said: “Our transgressions and our sins weigh upon us, and we waste away because of them; how then can we live?” 11 Say to them, As I live, says the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from their ways and live; turn back, turn back from your evil ways; for why will you die, O house of Israel? 12 And you, mortal, say to your people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not save them when they transgress; and as for the wickedness of the wicked, it shall not make them stumble when they turn from their wickedness; and the righteous shall not be able to live by their righteousness when they sin. 13 Though I say to the righteous that they shall surely live, yet if they trust in their righteousness and commit iniquity, none of their righteous deeds shall be remembered; but in the iniquity that they have committed they shall die. 14 Again, though I say to the wicked, “You shall surely die,” yet if they turn from their sin and do what is lawful and right— 15 if the wicked restore the pledge, give back what they have taken by robbery, and walk in the statutes of life, committing no iniquity—they shall surely live, they shall not die. 16 None of the sins that they have committed shall be remembered against them; they have done what is lawful and right, they shall surely live.




God knows which people are his own. His people are still obedient to him at the time of their death.

We can know that these people did wicked things and didn't repent of them before they died, and that is why they were denied eternal life.
