You ever look to see how many unaccredited schools there are?
I looked through the list up through the C's and it seems that most of the ones listed as being in Texas are either no longer in Texas or no longer in operation altogether. I did find three, however:

The radical Muslims are the ones who are willing to coexist with other religions and stick with the laws of their new homeland. The mainstream Muslims tolerate the radicals as a form of "taqiyya", so that others will allow Islam to increase. People would otherwise see mainstream Islam as abhorrent. Ultimately Islam does not allow freedom of religion and are justified to enslave people of other religions or force them to pay a tax. Missionary activity by other religions is banned wherever Islam has taken control. Islam is a political ideology dressed up as religion, and their ultimate aim is to introduce Sharia law. Women become 2nd class citizens and often treated as possessions.

TexAM does not hold regional accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) nor is the organization listed on a federal database of accredited post-secondary institutions and programs.

Especially considering how Christian and conservative Texas is overall.
It would be wrong to assume that most Texans hate people of other religions. After 9/11, when there were threats of violence directed at Muslims and Asians who looked like they might be Muslims, some Christian churches reached out to them. One group formed a line of Christians around a local mosque. Mostly symbolic protection, but I'd like to think it gave some comfort to the people who attend that mosque.
