Honestly, I feel as though this is me right now. I've gone through some terrible things, so it can be difficult for me to have faith that God is watching over me and guiding me. I've known other people like that, too, of course. I agree, these people really need our prayers if they're going to make it through the hard times.One of the saddest things is when people leave God and His truths as soon as something bad happens in their life. That's when we need Him most! My mom says that people who do that probably didn't have very strong faith to begin with...we should pray for them.
Yeah, you're probably right about that. I think I need to pray to God and study the Bible more to discern what it is that God is trying to tell me.
Haha, it happens!Three weeks after I took the Easter decorations down, I suddenly noticed there was still one hanging on my wall. It was there for three extra weeks and I didn't even notice!
Yeah, I've heard how frustrating it can be for people with food allergies. It must be difficult when your extended family members won't always accommodate.May is Food Allergy Awareness Month. I wish there was more awareness for food allergies. It's always been frustrating for me to have them. I've been left out so many times in my life because I couldn't eat the food or didn't know if it was safe. There are so many foods I can't eat only because the people who make them don't care if they "may contain" something I'm allergic to. Even some of my extended family members have been unconcerned about whether the food they had was safe for me or not. Then I'm always hearing about how healthy things I can't eat are, which makes me worry about my own health.
I'm lucky to not have any major food allergies, but my youngest sister has food allergies. I remember there were a couple of scary incidents when she was really young and we discovered she was allergic to cherries and oranges. Luckily, she was okay in the end, though.

I think people are getting more aware of others with food allergies and particular diets, though. I cook and bake quite often, and I come across recipes more and more that are gluten-free, nut-free, vegan, etc.
I'm glad your sister was okay in the end. My parents and brother don't have any food allergies, so it can be hard to see them enjoying foods I can't have.

I'm sorry to hear that. :/ I hope she does something to her problems. I can kind of relate, though--I can let problems slide sometimes, too. Mostly because I get busy and it can be difficult to find answers...My mom keeps complaining about being in pain. The rest of us know what's causing it, but my mom insists it's something else and won't do anything about it.
