  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Our statues and devotional areas were smashed up quite a bit, leaving broken glass and chairs, candles, kneelers and various statues in pieces, strewn all over the floors.

The person who was deemed as mentally ill was arrested.

We did not stop Bible study and evangelism to people who are mentally ill and homeless.

We increased them.

We are intending to start up even more studies and programs.

Many on the mean streets are not taking their correct meds, and are getting street drugs and alcohol and acting out and getting arrested over and over.

But some do listen.....they hear Jesus calling.....they read scripture with us and pray with us and some are coming to mass

Still, I need some help in the form of encouraging scripture or songs anything to help me in this fierce battle out on the mean urban streets!

Oh my. I am sorry this happened.

What was the damage amount as far as money goes? Do you know? How much money is your church going to have to spend to repurchase everything this person destroyed? Hopefully not as much as I am thinking.

I will pray your church can get back on its feet soon.

Thank you. The cost is covered by insurance and is only estimated to be around 25K.
