Trying to limit the scope a bit rather than getting off on a great many different topics.
Consider this a "first pass", of topics .. the low hanging fruit to give people a good idea of some of our views about the end, without a lot of complication
Adventists are among the few denominations that believe in
1. A literal 1000 year millennium that is till future
2.. A premillennial literal coming of Christ And at that time:
2.1 A literal 1 Thess 4 rapture event (as seen in Matt 24:19-31) as well
2.2 A literal rapture that takes all saints bodily to heaven (both the living and the dead)
(we share most, if not all of that with our dispensationalist , pre-Mill brethren)
WE tend to be unique in that we accept these Bible texts to be literal and true during the millennium
1. The Literal rapture is as Matt 24:29 says "After the tribulation" , saints like Israel in Egypt, see the Plagues
2. The rapture event is the whole focus of the NT church, (as Jesus says in Matt 24) 1 Pet 1:13
2. So nothing on Earth after the rapture is of concern to the people of God
4. The Rapture event starts the 1000 year Millennium
5. The Rapture event includes the 2 Thess 1 destruction of all the wicked
6. The Rapture event result in the Jer 4:23-28 desolate Earth with no humans on it for 1000 years
7. Desolate earth in the Jer 25:31-33 sense, where corpses are world wide and no one left on Earth to bury them
8. All the saints rule with Christ in heaven during the millennium as per Rev 20:1-5
9. The New Jerusalem , Christ and all the saints come to Earth literally after the 1000 years completes. Rev 20:1-8
10. All those in the Great White Throne Judgment of Rev 20 are judged by works and cast in the lake of fire.
11. All of the Ten Commandments are included the Acts 17:11 "Commandments of God" and not EDITED by man's tradition
12 All resurrected saints in 1 Thess 4:13-18 awake from "Sleep" as the text says
1 Thess 4:
13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. 15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
Those in the "first resurrection" are called "Blessed and Holy" in Rev 20 and these are the saints in 1 Thess 4:15-18. IN other words, John's book of Revelation gives "details: that include the 1 Peter 1:13 focus of the entire church. The rapture.
