I didn’t say anything about liking her. I’m talking specifically about the description of her as “classy.” And I’m not talking to your wife. I’m talking to you. As for your wife, she may not follow politics, but she’s around you, so she’s bound to pick up something, just like how my wife winds up humming the music I listen to.
Classy seems to mean rich, white and privileged with designer clothes and expensive hair and makeup. And thin - classy in the feminine sense means thin and botoxed.
In what way is she kind?
Every first lady in modern history has been well-mannered and controlled in their speech. I don’t have a sense of how kind or gentle many were behind closed doors, but on that point, she doesn’t appear to stand out from the pack the way that Michelle Obama, Jill Biden and maybe Laura Bush have.
Everyone loves empathy. But it gets really complicated and messy when people take empathic ideas, and then apply them rough and militantly... That's where the weirdness comes in, and feathers get ruffled.
Whoa...I don't know anyone, given those descriptions, would think of my wife. But if you asked them to name 3 women they knew that had class...she'd be pretty much in most of the top three picks.
I'm sure your family is great. I don't doubt it, most Australians seem like good people.

To be fair it's also hard to be empathetic to people so clearly unsympathetic to others.
