Much as I hate to admit it, at this point there is only one way to rein him in, and that won’t happen until November (really January). The once conservative Republican Party has totally abdicated their responsibility. This type of horrific (lack of) leadership makes it imperative that either the Republican Party do their job or, despite policy concerns, the Democrats need control of Congress.

Senate Bill S2834 allows the POTUS to override the congress to conduct military operations domestically and overseas if the POTUS deems the situation a threat to National Security.

And now Trump has National Security Strategy team. He knows about that loophole.

You won't be able to do anything until you make revisions to that bill.

Remember, five authors of this mandate hold high positions in the government. And while the President acts like a buffoon, this group of NatCons are restructuring our government.

Didn't he threaten to bomb bridges and power plants? How is that Genocide? If he threatens to destroy civilian population centers it's the duty of Govt to remove him.

I also want to point out one of the goals of this mandate, to expand the Abrahamic Accord This is key. Why? Because it specifically mentions a " maximum pressure campaign " towards Iran. Unfortunately, the spirit of the Accords, centered on regional "stability" and "coexistence" has been effectively shattered. While the diplomatic paperwork remains, the promised "era of peace" has been replaced by a conflict that the Arab signatories are now desperately trying to escape.

It's all BS rhetoric. he's got a mouth! He used it against Greenland and NATO, yet NATO says the partnership is stronger than ever. Meanwhile the Iranian Govt have increased their executions of protesters. If they keep it up there won't be any need for genocide.
