  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

God detests evil, yet he resurrects the wicked to face judgment. I assume this is because once created a human existence cannot simply be snuffed out. But how can he recreate an evil person who is not washed by Christ's blood? God cannot create evil so how can he recreate the bodies of wicked people?

A resurected body is not the final outcome for humanity, there is a judgment day. Scripture clearly explains this process.

Be blessed.

* John 5:28–29: "Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation."
* Daniel 12:2: "And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contempt."
* Revelation 20:12–13: "And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened... And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them."
* Acts 24:15: "I have hope in God... that there will be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and the unjust."

They are resurrected in their sinful state. Unlike a born again child of God who is resurrected in a new sinless body.

In 99% of cases God is literally recreating a resurrected body according to its original blueprint. If he recreates a sinful person then that is an issue because God detests evil and cannot be a party to it. So how is it He resurrects the sinful.

Yes the judgment follows the resurrection but before that sinful people are resurrected. How can God resurrect wickedness?

Obviously the act of resurrection does not mean that the person who is being resurrected is pure of heart or even saved.
You will need to redefine that word to include all will be resurrected to judgment.

Ok no one seems to be getting the dilemma here. God cannot create imperfection nor tolerate sin. I propose the following as a solution to my dilemma. When we die a believers soul is filtered and purified by the blood of Christ and becomes pure. A sinful unbelievers soul remains in its state. Both are held awaiting the resurrection. At the resurrection God recreates a perfect body for wicked and righteous alike. The life of soul returns to those bodies at that time. In this way God creates nothing impure but the body and soul are reunited at the resurrection to face judgment in the state of pure faith or impure unbelief.

It's not for the purpose of serving evil, instead it's a necessity for a just judgment. Angels can witness souls but normal humans can only witness bodies. For example, if you murdered someone in front of others (humans), they can only stand witness against you by reckoning your body as your image. In contrast, if you would deny a sin/crime, you may also call your witnesses while humans need bodies to reckon each other.
