Release International Prayer requests for India.

Saturday 21 February 2026 – India​

Pray for the Bible Society of India, and all those involved in translating, printing and distributing God’s word in numerous languages across India. As hatred and persecution of Christians increases many believers are unable to meet to worship or study the Bible together, so being able to read it in their own homes is critical. Pray that the Scriptures would strengthen all who read them.

Friday 20 February 2026 – India​

Give thanks for believers who have been able to gather and worship again in the troubled northeastern state of Manipur, which was racked by communal violence in June 2023. However, church buildings remain destroyed and thousands of Christians are still displaced.

Thursday 19 February 2026 – India​

Pray for success for the lawyers representing and advising Indian Christians who have been accused, charged or jailed under the ever-tightening anti-conversion laws in various states. Pray that spurious charges would be dropped and that the freedoms enshrined in India’s constitution would prevail over these harsh local laws.

Wednesday 18 February 2026 – India​

Pray for mental and physical healing for all those who were attacked for their faith in India last year. Ask God to ease their fears as they hand over their trauma and anger to Him.

Tuesday 17 February 2026 – India​

Pray for Rajendra, who remains in jail in Rajasthan on false charges of beating his mother (who in reality was attacked by a Hindu mob) and forcible conversion. Pray that he would have courage and that God would comfort his wife and family; and that justice would prevail.

Monday 16 February 2026 – India​

Pray for encouragement for Christian children, especially in rural areas such as the Saura hills of Odisha, who are bullied and rejected because they follow Christ. Pray that their teachers would model better behaviour and treat all their students fairly.

Sunday 15 February 2026 – India​

Pray for Christian families now facing ‘social boycotts’ in the Saura hills of Odisha, eastern India, who are unable to buy or sell produce or access communal water sources simply because of their faith.
