  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Why then are the unbelievers at the great white throne judgment, not judged for this sin. They are sent to the lake of fire for only one reason their names not being in the book of life.
They are there because UNBELIEF left them unpardoned. Their names were never written in the Book of Life.

The reason their names are not in the Book of Life is because they rejected, denied & refused to accept Jesus as their Lord & Savior.

Unbelief is the cause; the absence of their name is the legal outcome.

At the Great White Throne (Rev 20:11–15), unbelievers are judged by their works because they refused the only payment that could remove their sins. Since they rejected Christ's atonement, they stand before God on the basis of the law & every jot & tittle condemns them.

Believers, by contrast, never appear at the Great White Throne. We stand at the Judgment Seat of Christ (2 Cor 5:10), where the issue is not sin. Jesus paid for ALL our sins. The topic here is rewards, faithfulness & what we built on the foundation of Christ (1 Cor 3:11–15).

They never believed in Jesus for Eternal Life. They are judged by their works, because when they never believe in Jesus for Eternal Life (God's free gift). Their eternal destiny was already set upon their death. Their judgment of their works determines their placement in the lake of fire, not to see if they are going to the lake of fire.

But as my original post and my reason for posting was that the Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Was a very specific sin only found in Matthew 12. It is not a general sin that is just connected to unbelief, as you were saying in your original post. That is why no one can comment this sin today.

It was a very specific sin only found in Matthew 12. Connected to the nation of Israel and their leaders saying Jesus did his miracles by the power of Now when the Pharisees heard it they said, “This fellow does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.”

Not by the power of God and The Holy Spirit. As Jesus healing of the Then one was brought to Him who was demon-possessed, blind and mute; and He healed him, so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw.

This was an Old Testament prophecy that only The Messiah would be able to heal blind and mute demon possessed people. That is why after Jesus healed the demon-possessed, blind and mute person. people asked. And all the multitudes were amazed and said, “Could this be the Son of David?”

That's the point I'm making. Their works don't determine whether they go to the lake of fire, unbelief determined that. Their works determine the degree of judgment, not the destination. Unbelief is the cause. The absence of their name in the Book of Life is the legal outcome for unbelief. Their works determine the severity of judgment, not the location.

Revelation 20 is clear: They are judged ""according to their works"" after it is already shown their names are not in the Book of Life, due to unbelief in Christ as Lord & Savior. The Book of Life determines destiny. Their works determine degree.

This is the same pattern Jesus taught: The believer ""is not condemned"" (John 3:18). The unbeliever ""is condemned already"" because he has not believed. Works reveal the life lived, but they never reverse the verdict.

So yes - they never believed in Jesus for eternal life. That's why their names were never written in the Book of Life & that's why they stand at the Great White Throne instead of the Judgment Seat of Christ.

Believers appear before Christ for rewards (2 Cor 5:10; 1 Cor 3:11–15). Unbelievers appear before Christ for sentencing (Rev 20:11–15).

Two different groups. Two different judgments. Two different outcomes

No, devils are not ppl, but Jesus noted
The devil ie Satan is the father of
Lies, and people can do demonic things
When the devil is their Master, likewise,
Those in Christ can not do evil, from the same source of their Will choosing Not to,
It depends on who is our Master, that is
Who we follow.
No one chooses themselves sinless.

Jesus told us all quite clearly multiple times in the Gospels that evil thoughts come from within and defiles us.

There are zero exceptions, before or after salvation.

If people are living their lives in God
They are no more a part of this world,
And their thoughts can be maintained
In pure and good intentions as a result.

Our thoughts come from what we allow
Ourselvesthe liberty to do each day, ie, things we allow ourselves to watch, the Words
We Speak, the company we seek, and all
Of these things we can hold captive and
Control if we are no longer a part of this world
And Christ as our Master.
We evolve into new creatures.

IF Jesus said evil thoughts defile us, (He did), then it is merely that same evil that claims otherwise.

Jesus was spot on. And honest.

Too bad believers don't believe Him

Jesus takes away the sin of believers and unbelievers, the slate has been wiped clean. An unbeliever remains a sinner, but all of the sins they will commit are forgiven. Just as all sin a believer will commit has been forgiven.

That sounds like universalism...

I hope I misunderstand.

We are to hold all evil thoughts
Captive,
Well at least you admit having evil thoughts to take captive. You might also agree with Jesus that said evil thoughts defile us regardless of taking them captive.

If you're a Christian & you fear you've committed the unforgivable sin, you haven't & you CAN'T!

The unpardonable sin is not what most people think.

All Humanity: Guilty of Sin, Offered a Gift

Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
(NOTE: Scripture declares all to be sinners.)

Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
NOTE: The wage our sins have earned = death. The gift God gives = eternal life through believing in Christ’s sin‑atoning death & resurrection.)

John 12:32 Jesus said; if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw "all" men unto me.
(NOTE: Jesus was lifted up on the cross & from the grave & He draws all.)

Matt 12:31 Jesus said; All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
(NOTE: The Spirit draws all to Christ. The only sin that remains unforgiven is the lifelong rejection of that witness - refusing to believe in Christ's atoning death & resurrection.)

The Spirit Convicts the World of One Sin

John 16:
7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
(NOTE: The Comforter = God's forever [Jn 14:16] gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit.)

8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
(NOTE: The Holy Spirit will reprove, expose & convict everyone of, sins? NO of "SIN" singular.)

9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
NOTE: We all have a choice, except & believe or reject & deny, Christ's sin atonement & resurrection until life's end. UNBELIEF is the only sin we need to repent from!)

Jesus' Warning: Die in Unbelief, Die in Your Sins

John 8:24 Jesus said; ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
NOTE: Lifelong unbelief leaves a person in their sins with no pardon.)

The Only Unpardonable Sin

The only unforgivable sin is dying in UNBELIEF — rejecting Christ's sin‑atoning sacrifice & resurrection until life’s end

John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
(NOTE: Believers are not condemned. Unbelievers remain condemned because they refuse to commit to the Son's sovereign rule.)

"UNBELIEF" at life's end is the only UNFORGIVEABLE sin.

A Full Pardon Awaits Anyone Who Believes

Accept God's grace (Rom 5:1-2) - His undeserved favor - by believing in: Christ's faithful, obedient, sin‑atoning death (Rom 6:23). His burial (proof He truly died) & His resurrection (the Father's receipt that the payment was accepted)

Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
(NOTE: Jesus is that grace.)

Romans 10:
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
(NOTE: Confess Jesus as Lord, Believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead & you shall be saved. (Acts 2:21 & Rom 10:13)

HERES WHAT HAPPENS THE MOMENT YOU ACCEPT CHRIST:

Eph 1:
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed "ye were sealed with that holy Spirit'' of promise
(NOTE: You HEARD & BELIEVED about Jesus sin atoning payment & resurrection. Then Jesus baptizes/immerses you with/by/in His Holy Spirit (Matt 3:11, Mk 1:8, Lk 3:16) & you're FOREVER (Jn 14:16) sealed/protected (Jn 10:28) until the final day of redemption (Eph 4:30). Where you receive an incorruptible body, clothed with immortality.)

14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
(NOTE: Earnest = a promise, down payment, Christ' Holy Spirit is the guarantee of your future inheritance.)

2 Cor 1:22 Who hath also "sealed us" & "given the earnest" of the Holy Spirit in our hearts
(NOTE :God has sealed us & given His Holy Spirit as the earnest in our hearts.)

2 Cor 5:5 God, who also hath given unto us the "earnest" of the Spirit
(NOTE: Every believer receives the Spirit as God’s pledge.)

Tim 1:14 (A) The Holy Spirit who dwells within us
(NOTE: Christ' Holy Spirit dwells inside every believer.)

Eph 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
(NOTE: The H/S seal lasts until the resurrection of the body - 1 Cor 15:53.)

Summary: What Is the Unforgivable Sin?
Not murder - Not adultery - Not blasphemous thoughts - Not backsliding - Not failure - Not weakness.

The only unforgivable sin is dying in UNBELIEF & rejecting Christ as Lord until the end.

Anyone who believes in Christ's death, burial & resurrection is forgiven, sealed, secured & eternally His. Amen

The unforgivable sin, in my understanding, is the refusal to repent of a transgression of God's Law, AKA "Sin". This is shown by our works.

Mark 3: 28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: 29 But he that "shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost" hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:

For instance, if a man cheats on his wife, or steals from people, and finds the Spirit of God's instruction against such a behavior, if a man knows it is a Sin to do these things, but continues to "Work Iniquity" anyway, this man hath never forgiveness. There is no forgiveness without repentance, as the Jesus of the Bible tells us Himself.

Luke 13: 1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. 2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? 3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, "ye shall all likewise perish".

Heb. 10: 26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Anyone who turns to God and Seeks the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, knows from the heart God's definition of sin. Even Paul was pricked in the heart by the Holy Spirit, for Lord knows how long, before Jesus spoke to him. There are people reading this post right now who has/is questioning the traditions and judgments they have adopted that are clearly not sanctioned by the Holy Scriptures. A nagging from within warning that something isn't right here. This is the "voice of the Lord", in my view as it is written, "Today, if you hear His Voice, don't harden your hearts like you did yesterday".

Don't push this voice away, don't be persuaded to transgress by all the other voices in the garden God placed us in that whispers, "You shall surely not die", "God didn't make that Law for you", Don't listen to those who God sent", "you were born to sin", etc., etc.

I advocate seeking the Kingdom of God and HIS Righteousness, then walking in it, as Jesus did and instructed us to do. Don't let another voice, even if, actually especially if it comes in Christ's Name, " beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind".

No, that is not an accurate representation of Scriptures concerning the powers of the air (Thoughts) that come into our mind. It isn't a Sin when a thought comes into our mind. First, we need to discern them to know if they are from above or below. We have weapons and Armor from God to make said discernment, and then to use against such thoughts that are ungodly or sinful, so that we are not carried away by them.

James 1: 13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14 But every man is tempted, when he is "drawn away" of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

In fact, according to the Holy Scriptures, our entire Battle is against spiritual wickedness in high places, which I believe to be sinful thoughts that come into our mind.

Which aligns perfectly with the Scriptures. The Kingdom of God dwells within me, the Temple of God is my mind, and the people of my Kingdom are thoughts. Godly thoughts are preserved, fed, nourished and allowed to prosper in my kingdom. Wicked thoughts are to be cast out, utterly destroyed, man, woman, cattle and every last part of the thought so that the wicked thought doesn't rule or influence any of the righteous thoughts in the Kingdom God gave me.

In this way I am led by Godly thoughts, which is the purpose of the Gospel of Christ in the first place, in my view.

Im making the statement that people are
Taught in scripture they are to hold unclean
Thought captive, im reiterating what all
People are to do.

Any thought God would not approve of.

The emphasis is training the thoughts
From the new life lived, from what people
See and choose to do, when the new
Life is there it shows itself its not a
Struggle at all.
Raised in the church and being a woman
Was and is this kind of life since i hate
Evil and lies and all impurities.
