Of course it hurts! It wouldn't be much of a punishment if it seemed pleasant, would it? And what you did to your sister hurt her, didn't it? You actual say that you got pleasure from her screams and kicking!
but i have already been punished last weekend, just because i wouldnt right a letter of apology to my sister i have to spend another weekend locked up, on friday evening i will lose my tv phne pc etc then i will be locked up for the night, i will spend all of saturday and sunday shut in my room, i will hear my cousin and uncle pick up my sisters for the theme park, while i am locked in, its going to be so paiful why no sympathy ?
I know that it is hard for you to understand but this is just a very small point in time. There are going to be hundreds of parties for you to enjoy, with your family, over the span of your life. In a few years, you won't remember this party but you'll remember the lesson that you learned.
my parents wont budge on my punishment, they said i have one more weekend to serve and i MUST and WILL serve the punishment in full, my parents have explained my punishment and why it is neccessary, tonight at 4pm friday i will be escorted to my room, i will then lose my tv, phone pc etc NO entertaiment, i will then be locked up for the night, on saturday and sunday i will be woken up at 7am after a shower and beakfast i will be locked in my room for the rest of the day, once again i will be set lods of schoolwork to do plus 2 four page punishment essays per day to write, i have 2 essays to write tonight friday, one on THE IMPORTANCE OF PUNISHMENT and another essay on WHY WE MUST RESPECT OUR FAMILY MEMBERS , what makes my punishment VERY hard this weekend is its my cousins 16th birthday party and its at a indoor theme park, my cousin and uncle are coming to our house at 10am to pick up me and my 2 sisters, my parents have already said i wont be going as i am being punished, i have turned on the waterworks and begged my parents to let me off but they refuse, both my sisters have been teasing me saying how cool the party is going to be, and i while be locked up. as for the sister who i locked in, she said she has forgiven me but she thinks i deserve to be punished this weekend so i learn my lesson, she said she really suffered while locked in and had panic attacks so thats why she wants to see mee properly punished is this fair ? i am going to HATE being shut in ?
First you tell us that you locked your claustrophobic sister up for six hours, and took pleasure in her screaming and kicking. Now you add that you refuse to apologise to your sister. You say you are a Christian. Do you really think that such behaviour is the sort that a follower of Jesus Christ should indulge in? As for enduring punishment, Peter, writing to Christian, says that they should be willing to endure punishment patiently even when they have done nothing wrong:

Yes, your sister was locked up for six hours, but she suffers from claustrophobia. You seem convinced that you are right on this matter. It does make me wonder what being a Christian really means to you. As a Christian, you have a Saviour Who endured agonies and even death on a cross for His followers. He Himself had done nothing wrong at all. Yet He didn't complain. He didn't say, "It's not fair. Why should I be suffering like this? I have done nothing wrong." Your punishment involves missing a party and a trip to a theme park. Such things are trivial when compared to what Jesus suffered fore His people.
i now i have done wrong and i did write that letter of apology , i have asked my parents if i can serve my punishment the following weekend, that way i can attend the theme park and party, my parents said my sister couldnt attend her driving lesson and date with her boyfriend because i locked her in, so my parents said i must miss out on the fun things, that is what punishment is about, is this fair ?
Neither I nor others who have replied to you seem to be able to make clear to you that your thinking is wrong for a Christian, so I will leave it there. I would just urge you to remember what Jesus endured fore you, and be full of praise to Him, rather than your contibualcomplaints about unfair punishments.
