One thing that God has shown me is the necessity of trying to make those that I may have damaged, whole a again. It's not enough to say that your sorry. You need to understand why you did what you did and correct it.
thanks for your advice, i have now told my parents i will write the letter of apology to my sister, my parents have welcomed this but have said i was given many chancies but refused for therefore i will be punished again this weekend, i HATE lockdown now i will have to suffer this punishment again this weekend i am gutted ADVICE PLEASE ?
Be good and show that you understand the depth of what you did to your sister. When you can show this, your parents will be pleased at your repentance.
yes i will,, i will be put on punishment tomorrow evening friday when i will be locked in my room again, i have asked my parents if they want any extra chores done, i have even offered to clean and hoover my sisters bedroom, my parents welcome this but said once a punishment has been given it MUST be served, i have told my parents how much i hate lockdown , they said thats the point of punishment its to punish , is this fair ?
If what you wrote before about you deliberately locking your sister, who you know suffers from claustrophobia, in, then it seems fair to me. You haven't said that you suffer from claustrophobia, so although you hate being locked in, your sister will have suffered even more because of her claustrophobia.
yes i know you are right, its just that i thought i had paid my debt by being punished last weekend, now i have to suffer this coming weekend on lockdown, i hate this punishment so so much , the boredom is terrible, do you think i should be let off this coming weekends punishment ?
My suggestion (and it can only be a suggestion, because I don't know you personally) is that you patiently put up with the punishment. This will show your parents that you realise how wrong you were to lock up your claustrophobic sister, and how horrible and even dangerous it must have been for her. Ask God to help you.

Yes. They are not physically harming you. This will pass as you show that you understand your actions were wrong.

I don't imagine your sister wanted to be locked up either, yet you did that to her, knowing that she has claustrophobia. You even said that you enjoyed watching her kick and screaming to be let out.
Your sister wasn't even being punished. Did you just let her off? No, you took pleasure in her kicking and screaming. She didn't like being locked up, and you say you left her there for 6 hours because you got distracted and forgot. Now you are complaining that you are being punished for being so cruel.

yes but i was really looking forward to my cousins party, both me and my 2 other sisters have just got our invitation, my cousin with her uncle will be coming to our house at 10pm on saturday, then off to a indoor theme park, then back to my uncles house in the evening for a party, i cant go as i will be locked in my room and punished, both my sisters are teasing me saying how cool the theme park and party will be, PUNISHMENT HURTS ?
